Smelled amazing as soon as you walked in! We were greeted by a very lovely lady to check in & given cookies, amazing! Enjoyed drinks in the bar & food in the restaurant which were all amazing & good value. All staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. Rooms were spotless & the bathroom essentials provided smelt amazing. Breakfast was also fantastic, the selection was really good.

It was very clean, comfortable with access to great amenities. Using the pool was fantastic.
Lovely staff, lovely reception rooms.
Absolutely no information on the hotel or surrounding area. No tea pot/ kettle. Poorly maintained plumbing . Hot water dangerously hot. One tiny bar of soap for 2 people for 2 nights.
Our room was not serviced the second day. No newspapers offered. No information about room service.

Food, room, ambience, inside and outside of hotel,...
Food, room, ambience, inside and outside of hotel, perfection. Staff service impeccable. Down to the television, which we were searching for, discreetly hidden behind a tv mirror, television when you switch tv on and functional mirror when tv switched off. All in all one of, if not the best hotels I have stayed in overnight.

The location is good for visiting the surrounding area.
The location is good for visiting the surrounding area. It is within easy reach of Dunblane, Gleneagles, Perth, Stirling to name a few. Since we stayed at Cromlix House we chose to eat there as the kitchen is an Albert Roux kitchen. Cromlix House also serves lunch in their restaurant and snacks or afternoon tea in either of their sitting rooms.
Argaty red kite centre is within a few miles and is worth a visit. To witness feeding time arrive by 2.30. The cost is £6. The centre is open also for unescorted visits and donations can be made via an honesty box. Worth a visit. Dunblane cathedral is also worth seeing.
