The Victoria Hotel on the Isle of Bute offers a prime location with its breathtaking marina and ocean views, especially from the lounge dining area where you can truly appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Our room was on the 2nd floor; do note that the hotel does not have a lift, which wasn't a problem for us but might be worth considering for those with mobility issues.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a beautiful location. Yes the hotel is in need of some updating, however we found it was part of it's charm having original features. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. We had a superior room which was huge, with a view of the front, a huge bathroom, dinner, B & B all for £156 which is very good value for money. We paid £22 additional for our evening meal (you get £25 each towards you're evening meal). I can't fault our stay, it was just perfect.

This was a lovely friendly quirky place to stay! Perfect for an overnight with my Elvis-fan teenaged daughter - fifties-style diner, playing music she likes, Tunnocks teacakes in the room... what more can you ask for? And the sea view from the room was exceptional. We also had dinner there: fantastic burgers, lots of food, happy friendly staff. Felt like a real family business.

Right from the start this is a wonderful place to stay - beautiful, peaceful location and a lovely old building. The welcome from the girl manning reception/ serving dinner was truly exceptional as was all of the service we had there. We had a lovely, comfortable room with a great shower. The food was delicious and the dining room is lovely with wonderful views. Can't recommend this place enough. There was even home made shortbread in the room. So nice!

The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The massive windows really make the most of the spectacular view over the bay. There is tonnes of storage and the kitchen is well equipped and really modern. There was tonnes of cutlery and crockery so if you have a full there will absolutely not be any issues. There is a really large porch which suited us as we had the cats with us so it prevented any door dashing incidents! There was a welcome basket containing bread, milk, butter, eggs, and sweet treats which was such a lovely wee touch. There was also lots of lovely things in the pantry so we were well catered for.

I have stayed at the property before and the owner was very accommodating, she couldn't have been more helpful. Apartments have nice terraced area at front, brilliant for chilling later on, when sun is down. Andrea has now added new small cafe, another awesome addition. I will be back to stay here again soon
