Great value for money, nice and helpful host. We came late in the evening and had an early start in the morning, so basically we only slept there, but the area looked also nice.
Set in the industrial town of Invergordon, with the busy Cromarty Firth Port directly opposite and the Harbour.

We were made to feel very welcome even when we arrived early. We had a delicious evening meal although we didn’t need so many chips.
It was perfectly situated for us to visit family

Great location. Good food and great service from two lads in the restaurant. Clean and bright. Good parking facilities.

Food was excellent and overall stay was value for money
It was or has been a nice little town or village. I think it would benefit from development and individual shops and cafes and restaurants. We had a job to get a coffee in the the high street but eventually found one. There is potential and especial as big cruise liners come in more needs to be done to encourage spending. I really didn't see much evidence of being able to buy nice individual items.

You will need to travel as Invergordon itself has nothing to offer really, very little in the way of places to eat and drink so we went to the next town to use the supermarket and takeaways there. It has nice coastal views, especially from the property and there are some ventures as you leave Invergordon with parking spaces outside where you can sit, take a picnic or a takeaway and enjoy the view. We just used it as a base to travel around which is something most people do in Scotland. It was lovely sitting outside in the evening, looking at the sea view at the front of the house. Jacuzzi Jets don’t work in the bath and the ensuite shower runs quite cool. You can’t watch normal TV channels on the TV i.e. ITV BBC etc we’ve just watched our own Netflix account or used iPlayer, ITVX. Everything else is absolutely perfect. The house is large, spacious, clean and well equipped with beautiful big windows.

Lovely little town. Great place to walk around.
Lovely little town. Great place to walk around. Has some shops, transport to Inverness and few pubs.
Pretty pictures painted onto buildings is a lovely touch to brighten up the town. Didn't spend much time here but would explore more next time. The locals I spoke to seemed friendly and a few even said hello in the passing. Place was pretty clean.
The views were lovely.

Invergordon is a working town with big yards down at seafront. I stayed whilst there was not a lot of work going on, so was nice and quiet. Not sure what it would be like with full scale production going on. If you like this kind of thing then a few interesting things to see, especially when the big cruise ships come in. Invergordon is central to many lovely areas in Highlands.

Probably the only good thing is the cheap prices you can find in hotels. The rest nope... it is a boring, ugly town, views to oil rigs, no shops (just one supermarket and a gas station, plus a souvenir store). One bar full of locals, where you will feel like an alien being stared at and judged... long story short, try to avoid it.

AVOID! Worst place I have stayed in for years.
AVOID! Worst place I have stayed in for years. Toilet roll half used, had to ask for another one, shower nearly working, two towels out instead of three, breakfast a joke ‘help yourself to continental’ which was apple juice off, bread out of date - we left and found it elsewhere. Not good…
The Ship inn was in a good location, we booked as a stop over before meeting friends for a lodge holiday. The staff were fantastic, we had dinner in the pub which was tasty and breakfast was beautiful. We had a family room in the house next door, it was a good size with double and single bed with a view over to the port. We woke up to find a ‘ship hotel’ had come in over night much to my daughters delight. We had a shared bathroom, which was free whenever we needed it. it had a bath and shower which was ideal for my 4 year old.
The staff were very pleasant and caring. Having stayed in many hotels and other accommodation worldwide in USA, Canada and various countries in Europe and Eastern Europe as well as the Hilton in London The Merchant hotel in Belfast we rated the breakfast at Tuckers Inn as the best breakfast we have had for many years if ever. It is a small hotel with 12 rooms. It is not luxurious or palacial but adequate for a small Highland village. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. What more does a body need.
The Staff is incredible, not even a slight exaggeration. It’s a beautiful hotel, especially the main living area downstairs. It really makes you want to hang out a lot. Gardens and outdoor space are well kept. and Breakfast each morning was special.
Otherwise, Bed wasn’t that comfortable, and train access to Inverness is difficult… but we really enjoyed every other aspect of our stay. And would highly recommend!!
Cottage was in the middle of nowhere, and it was lovely to get away from busy city life. 20 min drive for nearest groceries. Great location for Scotland road trip. We had a living room with an extendable sofa and 2 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. All accessories for cooking in the kitchen. Dishwasher, washing machine, and access to tumble dryer. Little pond meters away.
Really enjoyed out stay here. Was a very nice change from staying in the usual hotel/guesthouse/B&B, it the got the glamping vibe just right. The bothy was well kitted out and cosy, we also had our own outdoor eating/seating and bbq.
The host was very friendly and located within good distance from supermarkets and towns.
I highly recommend coming here.
Looked amazing on the pictures etc but turned out to be even better than expected!
Immaculately clean.
Convenient location.
Dog friendly.
Fantastic welcome basket.
Private.
Quiet.
I stay in Invergordon at least once every other month but this was my first time staying at Newmore. Will definitely be back
The Rosetower Hotel is a charming hotel with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully styled, with stylish décor and comfortable beds. The main lounge was a nice space for me and my wife to hang out and play a few board games. The staff are always friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
Quiet, and because the rooms were a mix of "hotel " bookings and longer term residents the kitchen and laundry facilities ( Neirher of which I used), the evening meal in the main hotel and the breakfast were both great. Really clean and very cheerful and friendly cleaning lady.
The location was a good mile off the main road and was in an isolated spot. Lots of nature in the park. Friendly staff. Great place to stay to visit other areas of the Northern Highlands. The lodge was spacious, dry and was located in a wooded area.
Great location for exploring the wider area, excellent facilities, everything you need for your stay, enjoyed the hamper that was left, really clean and well looked after, loved sitting in the hot tub in the evening.
Loved the location and the friendly welcome. Great well-thought out accommodation and loved all the extra touches to make our stay so ideal. Breakfast was just right and the dogs loved the area for walking.
The room was spacious and well appointed. We loved the grounds and the view from the patio. Definitely worth spending some time out there! The hotel's common areas were characterful and lovely. Good food.
Invergordon is not exactly on the tourist route but the hotel is quite a find. It is clean, comfortable, the staff are friendly and the food is extremely good. Our compliments to the chef!!!
The hotel is in a beautiful setting. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast and dinner are both great. I would definitely recommend this highlands location as a base for day trips.
Warm and comfortable cottage in a great location for access to Invergordon/Alness/A9. Comfy beds and well equipped kitchen - all furniture and appliances look new and in great condition.
The staff were amazing and so welcoming. The farm was very cute and lovely to see the animals. The property was perfect and such a nice change from a hotel. Can’t thought it
