I stayed for one night on an unplanned visit due to not being able to get home to South Skye as a result of a serious traffic collision that closed the road. My husband booked it (which is why the review is by Douglas!) We have lived on Skye for almost 20 years and have never been down the track to this hotel. I loved it. Even though we live on one of the most beautiful islands in the world, I want to come back and stay again.

What a wonderful setting for our stay on the Isle of Skye! The room was clean, a very comfortable size with two padded chairs and table, had a beautiful view of the ocean, and was quiet! We also had access to a separate "reading-morning" room. Large dining room view of an unnamed Loch. The continental breakfast was pleasant with a variety of food, including coffee, tea, and juice. Staff so friendly. Our springtime visit (end of April) provided an opportunity to see a lot of lambs and an otter pair. Parking great.

From the moment of arrival we were made to feel extremely comfortable and welcome, all the staff were very efficient, the views were tremendous, and although it is off the beaten track, we were treated with nothing but kindness and the knowledge OF Chris the owner was superb, meals were excellent, well cooked and efficiently served by a cheerful team. We will be recommending to everyone who visits Skye.

The hotel staff were fantastic !!! We had such a great time whilst staying their, nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t praise this place enough. Off the beaten track ( a little) and offers excellent views of the loch. This real was an amazing place to stay especially if you are visiting Skye to see Kilt Rock, the Old Mann of Stor, the fairy pools or Portree.

Lovely property in a stunning location. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, great shower and the bed very comfortable. Continental breakfast was good, fresh coffee and a good selection of cereals/porridge, cold cuts and fresh fruit. Next time we visit the Isle of Skye we would definitely book Redwood House.

The view from my room was just beautiful and I loved the slightly off the beaten track setting of the hotel. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the ensuite shower was spotless. I could happily have stayed there for days.
