The owner was lovely, so welcoming and helpful. The best part was how genuine she was, wasn't put on, just a lovely lady who is proud of her establishment. The bed was so comfy, and the room was a really good size, best night sleep I could have asked for. The breakfast was delicious, and so relaxing.

nice little village, clean and quaint, but not much there, basically 1 little village shop and 1 Pub with Cafe attached...The pub was very good and so was the cafe, Expertly run by the Lovely Tara...Who provided great Food, (during the Day)...including Gluten Free Options, which were Delicious. The pub Closed at 9pm and Didnt serve food in the evening after 4pm. This meant that if you were staying in Gordon, you had to travel at least 7 miles to Kelso to get food...Kelso was also the nearest Supermarket.

Gordon is a bit off the beaten track so a car is essential for getting about. Lovely countryside and lots to do around about. We visited the Jim Clark Museum in Duns which was a highlight for my husband who is an F1 fan. This was around 10 miles away. We visited Kelso and Berwick on Tween also short distances away.

A great place to visit with countryside around and a comfortable location. Jane's Place, where we stayed, was very reasonable, and we enjoyed the warm welcome we received. Supper next door was great, as was the cooked breakfast Jane provided. Thanks, Jane!
