Everything about our stay was fabulous. The room was lovely, the bed super comfortable. The view was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious. There are of course a lot of beautiful walks nearby - however my husband got ill the second day we were there so we couldn't do as much walking as we intended. It was great to have such a lovely place to relax and recuperate in this situation.

Very welcoming & friendly staff and a location that could not be more convenient for the railway station (and was not noisy). The room was spacious, light & airy with good storage and an extremely comfortable bed. Fantastic bathroom and shower. There has clearly been a lot of thought put into the renovation and the attention to detail shows.

The Stonehouse Hotel was a sight for sore eyes, (a pleasant surprise) after walking 5 1/2 hours on the Costwold Way. We loved the hotel, the grounds and our room. We also found the staff, specifically the young man checking us in (sorry didn't catch his name), a waitress named Asuka, and the bartender Yaughtski. Hopefully we spelled that right. Lol. Yaughtski without a doubt made our stay welcoming and fun.

The Guesthouse is actually in Leonard Stanley, not Frocester. We didn't see much of it as were there for a weekend event at the Woodchester Mansion, but the whole area is lovely. We plan to go back for a walking weekend, to see the various long barrows and properly explore Woodchester Park.

Welcoming and friendly staff who made my week long stay very enjoyable. The room had everything I could have wished for and was very clean. When the temperature started to rise during one of the hottest week's of Summer a fan appeared without being requested. The menus for both the restaurant and bar are extensive and imaginative and the breakfast is amazing. If in the area again this will be my first choice for both accommodation and food and have already recommended to others
