The Colintraive, hotel in Feorlean

On the eastern coast of western Scotland’s Cowal peninsula, The Colintraive enjoys a peaceful village location and has its own pub and restaurant serving local specialities.

The Colintraive is a jewel of a place. Beautiful setting, lovely room, wonderful food, and friendly staff. Our visit was relaxing and all our needs were catered for. Every single member of staff was super lovely and went above and beyond for everyone to have the best experience. The restaurant is incredible - everything is so fresh - and there's even real ale in bar. We'll be visiting again very soon. Thank you so much!

Didn't have the breakfast unfortunately, can't recommend the owner and staff high enough, except we had the last room available which was a double and a setee bed. I was travelling with my son and he was driving, so he got the bed. Could have done with two singles. Apart from that, a superb stay.

Tregortha Guest House, hotel in Feorlean

This is a gem of a B&B to stay at while in the Argyll Coast of Scotland. I traveled here with my sister and two cousins, and we were all thrilled with our rooms, as well as the amazing hosts. Karmen and Gabor are friendly and kind, as well as being very talented. Karmen's breakfasts were delicious, and she was even able to adjust them to fit my eating constraints. The view while eating in the sunroom is spectacular, and made breakfast a wonderful way to start the day. The home is decorated with wonderful artworks by Gabor, who is a fabulous artist. He also helped us load up our luggage when it was time to leave. This was such a warm and friendly place to stay, it was as if we were home.
