After a long day travelling, it was a joy to be welcomed by our hosts, then drop our bags in our room before going for a leisurely walk through the beautiful grounds and woods that surround the Powder Mill B&B. The rooms are spotlessly clean with double doors that lead directly outside onto decking. We slept well in the comfortable bed and really appreciated the larger than average breakfast table. After a hearty breakfast we were refreshed and ready to head on our way.
This romantic 4-star country house hotel offers views from each bedroom. It offers a Scottish dining and local seafood in the property's restaurant with a choice of menus.

The location is superb. We had a dog-friendly room on the ground floor. These have a small private patio looking down to the shore, and across to Scarpa and Jura. The gorgeous Arduaine gardens are adjacent to the hotel.
The restaurant is excellent, especially if you enjoy fish.
I look forward to returning for a fourth visit!

The hotel was in a lovely setting and the lounge areas were inviting and cosy. The staff were excellent, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble.

Eredine is a very small collection of houses,within a forest location, halfway down a 25 mile single track road.
It is very peaceful,and has walks on the doorstep.
The nearest shop is 15 miles away,so preplanning is required.
A car is a must here. It's steep and uneven location is not really suitable for people finding walking hard
Nature is full on here so are the views of Loch and forests, great for a getaway.

Stunningly beautiful area to rent a holiday home. Remote but friendly hamlet. Lovely walks amongst forests or Loch from the back door . Dogs welcome and wildlife in abundance from red squirrels , deer , woodpeckers and much more. Waterfalls, highland cows and views. Cosy comfortable cottage with every amenity and the most comfortable bed and pillows. Take what you need and embrace yourself in Argyll
