Clean, comfortable and compact. Rooms are located in eaves spaces, not suitable for taller guests. Noisy. creaky floors, obviously haven't been bonded down. Seems be new, but a picture had fallen off the wall and not put back up and there were wrappers and rubbish in the side drawers from previous guests. 2 sachets of coffee, normal and decaf and not enough milk. Toilet was compact size and square so was very uncomfortable. Soap/shampoo was in black bottles in the shower which were difficult to read if you are visually impaired. It was 21.20 when we arrived and I had to call for instructions to get into the property. Couldn't really see signage in the dark, especially for the car park. No welcome or information available about the area. Clinical and basically a tourist money maker. No warmth or hospitality at all. Didn't sleep well, was glad to leave. Beautiful location, but overall not a pleasant experience.

Good location, room was clean but very basic. It was above a Chinese restaurant with very strong smells coming from the kitchen.

Very good breakfast. lots of choice to serve self from large jars / plates and lots of it! plenty of tea, coffee and juice to help self to. Staff continually topping up. Large family room with plenty of space for both dog beds. On suite very good with hot water but shower head fixed to ceiling so no hose.

The host was very friendly and gave us a short tour of the facilities on arrival. The place was very well thought of - everything we need was there and more. Very comfortable and lovely. It was also quiet, peaceful and you could spot small animals from the surroundings. Tranquil but comfortable!

Great location and facilities. Lovely walks and wildlife.

Great location and facilities. Lovely walks and wildlife. Very peaceful and quiet. Great educational experience for adults and children in the rewilding centre. There are citylink buses which take bicycles on request to near the property if you do not have a car. Lovely breakfast in the cafe which is included in the stay. Great shared kitchen area for guests however the addition of a toaster and perhaps a hob would be nice to have hot food in the colder months. We had a problem with the key entry system on arrival but quickly rectified by the staff and staff are available at all hours if help is required. Lots of eco friendly facilities. For staying there I would advise to bring food & snacks which can be stored in the kitchen area and fridge as the nearest shops are quite a distance. The cafe caters well for dietary requirements. Close to the Great Glen way and Fort Agustus.
