The paint on bedroom doors and skirting were all chipped and scored , toilets down stairs at reception were disgusting, loo roll , cups , paper dirty floors. Fence out side bar area was very old and falling to bits ,I learned after leaning on it the slates fell off , as did all the fencing on stair area lucky my husband was there to catch me as I used rail to go down to car park and it fell apart rotten wood. Definitely not worth 200 a night room only . The veiw was only good thing. Big grease stains in lamp shade in dinning area , dirty food marked seating.
The Loch Ness Country House Hotel offers excellent food and elegant rooms. It is a striking Georgian building in 6 acres of gardens, 3 km from Inverness city centre.

Everything about our brief stay was exceptional. The manager upon our arrival was outstanding, professional and friendly. The facilities were true 5 star and superbly comfortable. The attentiveness from all of the staff carried through to breakfast and checking out. My wife and I were sad in that we couldn't extend our stay due to prior commitments. The staff at Loch Ness Lodge are a credit to the owners.

Not the largest place we’ve visited, it’s on the less busy side of Loch Ness so very quiet, with one restaurant so book early if you want an evening meal.
The food was good and the price very reasonable
Perfect peaceful setting yet easy access to Inverness and surrounding area. Delightful , huge room with stunning views of the countryside . Breakfast room also had fabulous views . Guest lounge to relax in after sightseeing. Knowledgeable friendly host who even took us to and from local inn . Fabulous find and perfect for a few mindful days away from the stresses of everyday life . Lots to see within an hour of the area and more beyond . Highly recommend and will definitely return .
Everything. The care Marsalli puts in to the home and her guests is next level. I wish we could have stayed for a week. Our room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was phenomenal (may I recommend the porridge?) and the animals all over the farm and house were a welcome treat. If you’re looking for a warm, Scottish country experience close to Inverness and all it offers, you must stay here.
I would definitely recommend this B&B. We had a beautiful view of Loch Ness from our room. The host was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The facilities were exceptional with fresh milk in our rooms. The location was perfect, close to a lot of scenery and things to do and just a stones throw away from Inverness. Plus an added bonus of a secluded beach.
Wonderful B&B in the beautiful hills above Loch Ness only a 15 min drive from Inverness. The room was big, well equipped and really cozy. The comfortable kingsize bed and the quiet environment were great for a good night's sleep.

The most wonderful B&B tucked in the middle of the forests and only few miles from Loch Ness. Fantastic location and the most gorgeous road leading up to it. We wish we stayed there longer! Gorgeous decor in the lounge and the room, and just the friendliest hosts. Breakfast was fab too as were the doggos! Cannot recommend enough.
This place was wonderful, super comfortable and immaculate. The owner/hostess was helpful, friendly and just fantastic. Close to Loch Ness, but just off the beaten path enough to be perfect. Excellent breakfast and the room was exquisite. I wish I could give it even more stars than 10.
The room was in immaculate condition. The host was charismatic and knows her stuff around. She provided some fascinating tidbits about the history of the place and the loch in general. The food and the views at nearby pub Dores Inn is also highly recommended.
I loved the location on Loch Ness with a gorgeous view of the lake! The breakfast was all delicious with good delicious coffee prepared! The owners are also super friendly and informative about the area! I very much enjoyed our morning chats over breakfast!

The location is serene and just nestled in a peaceful pocket of Dores. Overlooking the Loch. The birds chirping and the calmness of the place is unreal.

The house is located next to the Loch Ness and there is nothing around except the alpagas which makes it a really quiet place. John and Fiona are lovely people who made our stay even more pleasant
