We managed to book not long before we arrived and we chose it because of the late check in. It was great that the pub was able to accommodate us at such short notice. The staff were really helpful. The breakfast was really good.

The location just off the A1 is a great stopping point! You don’t hear the traffic noise at all. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. We went to the restaurant for evening meal and it was very good indeed. Staff excellent.
