This was an exceptional little find at a good price. We had a late ferry arrival, so we needed somewhere close to the port to stay. Walnut Grove was only about a 10 minute drive from the Port. It had more than we needed for our stay and we found it very comfortable. Steve, the owner, had even left chocolates, milk, water, and crisps for us to enjoy. It's a first-floor apartment, so there are stairs to climb and it's self check in from a key box, so our late arrival wasn't an issue. We only needed one night, but it's a full apartment even with a washer, so you could stay for much longer stays. Plenty of toys are provided for the little ones, too. Great little apartment.

Ballyiumford is in a beautiful part of Nothern Ireland on Island Magee this is quite an isolated area and the shops are a few miles away so plan ahead for the first few days of your stay till you find your way around and do visit The Gobbins while you are there its a wonderful place.
