I loved the personal and adaptable touch from the team. It was a quiet period for the hotel and I sat in the lounge before dinner where the lady in charge put the fire on just for me and made me feel really comfortable and well looked after. I even had my dinner next to the fire rather than sitting alone in the dining room, it was a very lovely touch and one I will always remember. Thank you.

Our family stayed in the beautiful house at the Anchor Hotel. We had such a warm and friendly welcome from Jae and the house was just perfect. We loved the wee village with its stunning views and great walks. Only snag was finding a meal on a Monday as lots of places closed but in the next town was a fantastic Asian takeaway which I highly recommend. The wee local store across the street also has everything you need.
The house was so warm when we arrived and had everything we needed. A home away from home 💕.
I definitely give this experience an A+++++++.
