The walks in this part of the country are stunning as are the beaches if you get the weather! And there's never a shortage of good places to eat. If you have a furry friend, the majority of the shops and restaurants are pet friendly.

Typical of this charming part of Scotland, quite unlike anywhere else. Lots of little known corners of interest. EATERIES aplenty Kellue Castle, Crail, nuclear bunker, coastal path, Fish market live, Crail raceway for stockcars, Kingsbarns beach, St Andrews etc all nearby plus Bass rock trips, fishing....

Anstruther is a lovely and lively little town in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. It has a very picturesque harbour, good eating places, including the wonderful and award-winning Anstruther Fish Bar, a number of interesting shops and a well-stocked Co-op. It is within easy reach of other lovely little East Neuk towns/villages, including St Monans, Pittenweem and Crail, and the university town of St Andrews, which is a must for visitors to the area. The RNLI shop at Anstruther harbour has a really good selection of little presents to take home to loved ones, including the iconic yellow wellies for little feet!

Anstruther is a beautiful town, but can be very busy in summer months. Great for a walking holiday along Fife coastal path but it is not mobility scooter friendly with narrow pavements and no dropped kerbs. Great selection of fish and chip shops and small cafes.

The cottage was in a great position for a view of Anstruther and a 5min drive to the seaside front was ideal. Anstruther is a great fishing village, with plenty of cafes and restaurants for all needs, with easy access and parking along the front, with a 5min drive either way to other quaint fishing villages. Haddock & chips was perfect. ;)

It was perfection. Finished to the highest standard. So many lovely personal touches. The welcome basket was so nice. Mum loved the cake & biscuits, i loved the wine. Walkable down to the pub in Cellardyke and along to anstruther. ( if unlike me you dont have an 88yr old with you) Bed was comfy and got a great sleep. Communication with Jules was great. Probably one of the nicest apartments i have ever stayed in and i travel a lot!! Very very highly recommended!!

Close to the harbour in Anstruther, spacious and well-equipped, and the outside seating area is a bonus (if it isn’t raining). The house has lots of children’s books and games, which we didn’t use but would be great for a family with younger children. The kitchen was well-equipped and the TV and Wi-Fi worked very well. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the showers worked well. The Dreel Tavern across the road is a great location for dinner.

I rate this B&B very highly. One's comfortable bedroom looks out to the sea, and there is a sitting room for guests with a wonderful balcony which looks out to the sea, too. Breakfast included fresh fruit and breads and anything else in a Scottish breakfast one would want. Restaurants and shops in Anstruther are within walking distance, (no more than a half-mile), as are bus stops. The hosts are warm and friendly and fun to chat with.

The property was situated within an easy walk to the beach and the golf course. We could also walk into the town centre. It is an ideal house for a family break and the back garden is secure for children. We were also met by the host who showed us around the house and made sure we knew how everything worked. Thankyou very much Anstruther and the East Neuk of Fife is really beautiful and we had suberb weather.

Amazing property in anstruther which has been renovated to a very high standard. Exceptionally clean with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Bathrooms brilliant and beds super comfortable. Great location for exploring anstruther and the fife coast. Co-op 5 minute walk for provisions and 5 minute walk down to harbour for fish and chips. Nice outside space for sitting when the sun shines.

The location is good, positioned near the 'centre' of Cellardyke which means close to Anstruther for walking to shops and other amenities, but also positioned nicely for a walk to the 'far-end' of Cellardyke for the coastal walk, swimming etc. The property is right by the shore, only a few steps away from a nice rocky cove and access to the coastal walks and nice views over the Forth.

Beautiful and well-equipped room in a quiet area of hotel that was only a few steps above ground level that I really appreciated. Excellent breakfast choices served (not a buffet), delicious dinner with adequate choices to meet the tastes of the two of us plus our guest. Pleasant location right at the harbor. I would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

This cottage is superb! Every detail has been thought of, and the quality of furnishings and the kitchen items is amazing! We loved our stay here. The bed was super comfy and it is so roomy. The proximity to Anstruther was fantastic too. So close but away from the crowds. You could hear the Sea at night! Loved it

Sea breeze is beautifully decorated and super clean. It’s in a great location if you’re staying around anstruther, 5 mins to the local restaurants etc. We were in the area for a wedding so didn’t get to see as much as we’d like to but had a lovely time in the time we spent there.
