Breakfast fine but would have preferred different fruit to apple on second day. Good as we could eat it and be away early to travel home.

Location was perfect for our needs. Communication with host was very clear and prompt. The house was clean and well furnished. There was parking for a couple of cars at the side of the house. It was a quiet estate and people that we spoke to were friendly.

The view from the hotel is superb. On arrival we had a wonderful lunch in the restaurant overlooking the sea and the river esturary. The hotel facilities are very clean and fresh.

We holidayed at the end of April and the place was very quiet. Just one pub which we didn't go to. The place is very steep so we didn't do the walking out like we thought we would instead driving to local places for a wander.
We ate at Mannings in Fishguard which was a really nice experience, Moody cow just north of New Quay which was great, Jitterbug in New Quay which was superb and Cardigan town.
Places quite far apart and you need to drive most of the time.

Aberporth is a quiet coastal town - it has a nice seafront pub called The Ship Inn which did excellent food. Also, Driftwood cafe was good for breakfast and a great village store nearby. You need to watch out for opening times as it appears that most things shut quite early. Beach looked small but beautiful. Parking is limited.

~We spent our first night as Husband and Wife there could not have asked for anywhere nicer it was like being abroad it was lovely thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and the stillness in the air there. We stayed at the Ship Inn/Hotel in Tresaith near to Aberporth. As you come along the road to Tresaith there are some houses on both side of the road down to the beach as you turn the corner there sits the Ship Inn Hotel on your left hand side with its own car-parking for the Inn's overnight guests at the bottom of the road its the life boat station and a dead end with disabled parking beside the beach.

If you don’t want your typical seaside holiday, and are after something quieter this is a great location.
Great cafe - Driftwood
Great Indian
Well stocked local shop
Fish and chip shop
Pub a little expensive
The location was spectacular- there is just one thing which the website needs to address and that is that the pub should be advertised as the ship inn at tresaith near aberporth not the ship inn at aberporth. There are two ship inns within a couple of miles of each other and we went to the one in aberporth only to be told that they don’t have rooms
The property was perfect for my stay in Aberporth. It was well equipped and had everything I needed for my vacation. It located in a quiet and peaceful area with ample parking and just 5-10 minutes walk to the beautiful beach.
