Close to everything and still tranquil. A best kept secret.

Close to everything and still tranquil. A best kept secret. Make sure to check out the little trailer that sells crepes. Excellent crepes! Only drawback is there isn’t a Boulanger. So make sure to get you bread in another nearby town before arriving.

In Vierville-sur-mer you could walk al day if you wanted.

In Vierville-sur-mer you could walk al day if you wanted. You can walk on the beach, to the different monuments. You have a nice restaurant close to the momument on Omaha beach. The food there was the best. you could eat everything. you had fish, seafruits, steak, hamburgers,... In the city itself you could get easely around by car and on foot. I would recomend to take a raincoat because the wether can be a bit unpredictable.

The beach was perfect for giving the kids a run around after tea. Well deserved after a day at museums and in and out of the car. The beach was clean, great for shell hunting and the sea warm with a couple of sand bars easy to walk out to (depending on tide) Mini supermarket just at the top of the hill. A great base to explore from

The sort of beauty and peacefulness one can now experience there almost doesn’t betray the great sacrifice that took place on those same sands over 75 years ago - our freedom from tyranny rests upon the shoulders of those brave people who gave their all, and it’s a privilege to enjoy it while remembering them. Meanwhile though - EXCELLENT fish at the restaurants

Quaint area, beautiful stone buildings and cottages which are well maintained, located on Omaha Beach and near many WWII beaches and memorials. Walking distance to La Plage D'Or for cold beverages and ocean views, also Creperie la Falaise for b'fast and waffle treats made with salted caramel ice cream! Nearby L'Omaha Restaurant is great for dinner!

The location is beautiful and we had a wonderful sea view from our room. At night we could hear the surf…it was magical. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is simple but sufficient. The area is very interesting and there is a lot to see. We had a lovely meal at the brasserie downstairs - there are not that many restaurants in the area. All in all we had a lovely stay at this hotel.

This has been my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at during my time in France! The room was much bigger than I expected, the place is managed very well, and the location was excellent for the sight seeing I wanted to do. I couldn’t recommend it more.
