I stayed in Sarrebourg for a working trip, thought that it would be easier to catch up with colleagues in town than somewhere outside. Interestingly, colleagues recommended only places outside of town for eating, so I didn't see much of Sarrebourg. I was in what looked on the map like the town center, but I didn't see any nice places for having a coffee, dinner or for shopping around there. The town looked a bit run down in the area where I was, so I suppose that the surrounding villages are nicer places to stay.

It's OK if you travel by car but if you on the bicycle, road access is a little bit complicated.

The building, the garden, the room, the breakfast but first of all the very attentive and kind service semingly omnipresent. The location is rural with a very nice restaurant within walking distance. With a little bit of research you can enjoy som pleasant walking in the countryside. In addition you obly are short drive from Sarrebourg with Chagall etc.

Very sympathetic and nice rural location few kilometers outside Sarrebourg. Excellent for cyclists and people valueing quite surroundings. Excellent beds and (old style but very good) pillows with natural filling. Surroundings extremely quite.
Nothing. Upon arrival the hotel appeared to be in a complete renovation process. We refused to accept the accommodation and bargained to receive 2/3 of the paid amount back. This hotel should be put out of operation for the renovation period.

It was actually a dump, because they were in the middle of a renovation. But… The owners are the best! The food was delicious, the beers kept coming and the company was great. This is the place to be in Sarrebourg!
Staff were excellent and very helpful. We booked 2 rooms. One room had an issue with a flooded bathroom. Allison arranged a studio apt in another hotel with transportation! A great experience in this hotel.
