Saint Denis is unique.
Saint Denis is unique. It is not Paris, but it has its own multicultural, multiethnic culture. It is generally safe, but noisy and doesn’t have the same rules as living in central Paris!
Late night travelling is not recommend, unless with a companion or taxi.
I don’t feel unsafe there, but if you are hoping for the quintessential ‘Parisian experience’, I’d strongly suggest you stay within the circular road surrounding central Paris..However, if you want to experience the real multiethnic colourful rainbow of Paris, then this is the place for you!

Ideal location for attending matches at the Stade de France.
Ideal location for attending matches at the Stade de France. The Basilica houses the Royal necropolis and was well worth a visit . There are some restaurants although many were closed at the weekend. Easy access to central Paris by train.

This is an apartment building not a hotel.
This is an apartment building not a hotel. We arrived when we said we would and was unable to find anyone to let us in. In the end we waisted an entire day and had to stay some where else. For us this was a scam.

There's an energy about the area and it has a community feeling that was lacking in other areas. People were extremely helpful even though we had very little French. At the famous sights security was very evident with armed police and police vans everywhere giving the place a very sombre atmosphere. Due to the protests and riots it wasn't the best time to visit Paris, but around our apartment building there was a very relaxed feeling.
This hotel suited our needs perfectly. We were travelling from south of France with a rental car and needed to return it at CGD airport before a 24 hour flight. This hotel has secure parking outside the congestion zone and was perfect to park at and enjoy an evening in Paris before our flight. Rooms were comfy and clean. I'm aware the location is known for being a bit dodgy however the hotel entrance is right beside the metro station entrance so this was not a concern for us.
Spent 10 days on the property on a long Paris city break. We liked everything, It was clean, it was warm, it was nice, the kitchen had all the necessary utensils and the location perfect for us. Walking distance from the Metro (best way to travel fast in Paris), next to a huge and superb public park, and the people in Saint Denis are very polite and friendly. The fast food close to the property was excellent. Supermarkets in walking distance.
The hotel is convenient. The metro station and bus stop are about 3 minutes away from the hotel.
There are a number of restaurants nearby, a good supermarket and pastry where you can grab something fresh if you do not want to have your breakfast in the hotel.
The staff was helpful and when we came somehow late, we saw someone behind the desk.
All in all, if I would revisit Paris, I would put this hotel in the list of my choices.
I travelled with my colleague and we liked the location which was close to the metro line and to Paris 8 University. This small apartment provides good value for the money you pay for it. It's clean and has kitchen facilities, even though we didn't use them, but still good to have. The number of stairs one has to go through is small, which is a plus for an apartment.
The apartment is very spacious, cozy and quiet. Perfect for a good night rest and visit to Paris; the subway was 700m from the apartment. There are two separate bathrooms it 's more comfortable than a family room. There is an excellent bakery just around the corner which is perfect for breakfast. Price/quality the place was perfect.
The apartment was big and spacious, and everything we needed was available. The big plus was it was so easy to travel to all the top places in Paris, bus stop 3 mins away and only 2 stops to the local train/ Metro where you can easily get to all the top spots in Paris, The owner JohnPaul was easily available to contact if needed
The loft is cozy, comfortable and was very clean. Françoise is an amazing host. The metro station is near and it was easy to reach every place of Paris. The neighbors are very quiet and the place was silent during the night. If you are going to see a match or a concert at the Stade de France you can reach it in 5 min walk.
Perfect location, easy to get to and close to the Stadium or Northern Paris. The host was incredible, such a lovely lady, made us feel so welcome. Really nice clean apartment with everything you need for a great stay. I would highly recommend this if you need a place to stay.
Plenty of space, quirky apartment with lots of character, helpful and friendly owner, good communication. Supermarket nearby and boulangerie with great pastries next door. Easy to use the metro to get to central Paris.
Wifi was fast and stable, cleanliness was on the level you would expect, one of the receptionist was great - Benoit Arnaud - he cleaned our laundry since the hotel service was closed (but still offered by the hotel).
The host was communicative and responsive, and the apartment was pretty comfortable and had everything we needed for a very brief stay before flying out of Paris the next day. It was very affordable.
Great size room, comfortable bed, very quiet considering how close it was to the stadium, great soundproofing!! Train station to central Paris a seven minute walk from hotel.
