We slept one night in a bedroom and 2 nights in the Caravane “Ella”.
The bedroom was nice but the Caravane was AMAZING. The caravane is hidden in the back of the garden of the auberge - our experience in this renovated american caravan of the 50’ will stay unforgettable: the style, the level of details in the woodwork and the decoration, the attention brought to the ingenious solutions to make this caravan modern, the wonderful kitchen, the beautiful shower on the terasse (with warm water…!), the view on the wineyards and the hill from the bench of the caravane, the romantic lights on the caravane at night, the love and passion brought to this project by the staff: we have not enough kind words to describe our experience. 100€/night in the caravane is really a bargain.
The swimming-pool is beautiful.
The restaurant offers really good meals; broad choice of wines. The local pichet - being cheap - is also surprisingly good.
The staff is very kind, available, funny.
The library during which we spent an evening reading offers a wide range of books in various languages (great comic books as well!).
We were clearly not the typical customers of this hotel (we are more of the camping style) but we felt very much welcome and cannot wait to come back to the caravane “Ella” one day.

I particularly liked the hostess end the host. They were welcoming and it was pleasant to talk with them.
My bathroom was huge with a very good shower.
The little guest salon is comfortable and provided the environment for internet access, when very occasionally the connection failed in the bedroom.
Breakfast was good. It included melon and watermelon, yoghurt, and on my request cheese in addition to the confitures. The bread was excellent.
Because the weather was very hot, I stayed 'at home' mostly and lay reading on a garden stretcher. Very kindly, I was brought water or a beer. A quiet ventilator cooled the bedroom.
The trees and shrubs provide shade, beauty and seclusion. I do not swim but the pool also benefits from them and looks very attractive.

The owner was v kind - he kindly let us in at 10 am early as my sister and I had been let down with nowhere to stay the previous night. He really looked after us with a wonderful breakfast and offering tea and coffee during the day. V good rooms, we had one each and both were clean and well furnished
