The architecture and interior design of this series of buildings comprised by Le Clair de la Plume was exemplary: I had already visited it in Grignan as a tourist (they have a gift shop with their own products) and knew how stunning it is. Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toiletries. The south facing views over the village and chatea were equally stunning both during the night & day. Centrally located, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to try the outdoor pools. One call to reception for a local affiliated restaurant booking.
Domaine de Montine Chambres de Charme has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and shared lounge in Grignan.

Location was stunning and the complimentary wine on arrival was a lovely touch. Rooms were excellent, spacious and with beautiful decor. Breakfast was very well organised and delicious. The owner was a fantastic host and we will be back.

We stayed in a Premier double.
The room was really beautiful and had its own little terrace. The bed was comfy and the room well appointed, perhaps another easy chair inside would be good if the weather was wet. Bathroom spacious and lovely big bath. Breakfast was delicious and could be eaten inside, or outside in the lovely garden.
Lovely large bar area downstairs with lots of comfy sofas.
Staff very helpful.
The hotel is just down the hill from the centre of the village and hence was very quiet. But only 2 minutes to reach all the shops and cafes.
Set in Grignan, Le Pied de la Lettre has a shared lounge, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property.

What a great place! A lovely welcome by great staff! Our room was spacious and so comfortable and relaxing. The views across the rooftops were perfect too. We had dinner on the terrace to the side. The food was amazing, a must. We were very well looked after by a lovely Irish lady, very knowledgeable on the large wine selection! We'd love to go back to Grignan and would definitely stay again!!

Grignan is a beautiful old town with cobbled streets and a lovely chateau. La vie de chateau if wonderfully positioned for the chateau and the town centre. Note that no cars are allowed in the old town centre which is lovely for walking around.
Bruno sent us a message to call him when we arrived in the parking area and he came down and helped carry our luggage to the hotel. This is no more than 5 minutes walk up to the top of the town.
We were in Madame de Sevigny's bedroom and that felt special. Bruno recommended a restaurant, La Ferme Chapouton, and rang to book it for us. An excellent choice.
Finally, breakfast on the terrace was great. Beautiful fresh croissants and other pastries, fruit salad, fresh fruit, yogurts, great coffee etc all top quality and served by Bruno and Mireille with great style and humour.
We felt like very welcome house guests.
Thanks so much.
