This is an amazingly beautiful apartment in a perfect location for exploring the old town of Provins. The owner met me when arranged with key. There were a lot of unexpected features: clawfoot tub and robes, expresso and drip coffee maker, lots of coffee, tea, cereal. I didn't want to leave.

This property is unique! Staying here feels more like staying at a friend’s place than in a rental. Our group of five adults would not have minded staying here more than just one night. We appreciated how the host had thought of visitor comfort in so many ways.
We found a gramophone and some records in the living room and got an old-time experience of listening to music. Cranking up the machine, then hearing the lo-fi sound. Extraordinary!
The host messaged us well in advance so that we felt assured we would find the property and get the key on arrival. She had left excellent instructions for finding the best places to see and eat at.
The included breakfast was a nice extra touch.

Nicole & Alain are excellent hosts, the property is a small renovated annex to their beautiful home with a separate entrance - bedroom, bathroom and a small entrance hall. The bedroom is well lit with a comfortable big bed, the bathroom is comfortable with a shower. It is well located on a quiet side street in the outskirts of the medieval city, walking distance from everything. Free parking on the street. They offer a very nice breakfast for a reasonable extra fee.

A perfectly preserved 12th century walled town, much to see and do, an entire underground city (Souterrains), medieval tower/prison, and just walking around - you are transported back in time. We stayed in the Demure des Vieux Bains Inn - so fabulous!! Had wonderful meals in great restaurants, it was the perfect 2 night trip. Do yourself a favor and leave Paris for a couple of nights, you won't be disappointed.

The mediaeval town of Provins has literally hundreds of fabulous old properties as well as the star sights of the Church, the Tower and the Walls. We walked several miles including some steep uphill stretches and loved every bit of it.
Lots of restaurants give a good choice of price and menu.

Provins is split into two - the Haut Ville and the modern town. All the character and medieval sights which make it a UNESCO World Heritage Centre are in Haut Ville. The Petit Train was a great sightseeing ride to get a feel of the place. It's a tad sleepy - woke up around 11am and was empty again by 930pm but that was relaxing too. An hour from Disney.
Fantastic medieval town, beautifully maintained and surrounded by green fields and hills. In the spring roses are present on every corner which makes it very romantic to walk/bike along the little streets. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a weekend for 2 or for families to spend time together out of the city.

Provins is such a lovely medieval town. It feels like you go back in time. I really enjoyed this town and will definitely come back. My favorite town in Europe right now. And very few tourists which is a big bonus for me!

Gorgeous medieval village with so much character, interesting sights, great shops and restraunts... and all within walking distance. Staying there was like stepping back in time but better!! No wonder it is UNESCO listed.
It was amazing two days in Provins! Landlords were extraordinary care and attentive. It's the first time when we can surely say: we will come back certainly. The flat is located on the first floor in the house with own closed area. There is free parking that's very good if you are travelling by car. The flat is vary cozy and comfortable. Hosts cared about everything: from cold drinks in the fridge and sweets to guides of town and hygiene supplies. Welcome sign was so cute! I exactly recommend this accomodation!
The hotel was 'unexpected' to say the least. It is in a historic building. Our bedroom reminded us of a noble person's bedchamber circa 1700 - large and reminiscent of a castle. The breakfast had a terrace overlooking the courtyard. Olivier and Veronique were amazingly hospitable and friendly and made us feel at home immediately. The hotel is situated in easy walking distance to some of the most significant historic sites in the town. Overall - just great!
It was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The host couldn't speak English but it was not a problem at all as she spoke to us with enthusiasm and kindness and we made it work. The place was absolutely stunning and felt like something out of a period drama. The location was in a great spot, very central! The place has aircon but there are enough windows and breeze that we didn't need it in 30 degrees weather
The rooms are super clean and very bright.
Location is just ok,you have to walk up to pl.du Châtel where the good restaurants are. The walking street is Rue du Val. Walking from hotel you will be in the middle of this charming street.Strolling along to Caisse d'Epargne then walk back Rue des Marais up to pl. du Châtel or as you can.Breakfast is excellent.Fresh fruits, bakeries, cheese, boiled eggs.
Attractive modern eclectic home in historic building, great location in medieval Provins.
Owner was delightfully hospitable and helpful, we felt welcomed as if we were personal guests.. Helped us organize our pretravel covid test as we were flying the next day. Great space for us as couple, would have been perfect for sharing with friends given 3 bedrooms.
This accommodation was absolutely fantastic. It is located in a medieval house on the edge of the main square in Provins. The apartment was warm, welcoming, and very clean. The interior decoration was gorgeous. It had a small kitchenette and was an easy walk to restaurants and boulangerie for breakfast. We absolutely loved our stay!! Thank you.
The outside architecture of the house is very authentic and gives a taste of Provins’s style. The inside of the house has been renovated and is filled with beautiful vintage furniture and decor. The host is very friendly and provided helpful recommendations for food and activities (also available on their website).
Wonderful house in a beautiful medieval village!
The host was more than welcoming, providing all the necessary information for us to enjoy our one day stop. She even organized a guided tour to the Provins amazing undergrounds. The recommendation for dinner at a local restaurant was outstanding as well.
Perfect location right in the middle of town! Lovely hotel that blends old world charm with modern conveniences. We stayed here during the medieval festival and it was right in the middle of the activities. We were so glad to be able to go to our room to rest or use the bathroom during the day.

We could impact the air-conditioning as we wanted (not too much brassing of air and not too cold) , the breakfast was good, the hotel was very well located (close to centre but still calm). The staff was helpful, and the room was clean and silent and the design beautiful.
wonderful hospitality. Daniel truly made us feel welcome and at home. the décor in the hotel is special and made us smile continuously
dinner was excellent - food tasty and nicely presented. the staff attentive and the setting in the garden was a real bonus
thank you
Warm welcome with our midnight check-in. Easy parking. The closing restaurant stayed open to indulge us with two fantastic martinis. Beautiful gardens with topiary trees and outdoor dining. Best location to stay in Provins.
We will always come back to this hotel.
beautiful fully equiped appartment right in the centre of the city. Perfect spot to be. Not a borying hotel room but a B&B with elegance and a touch of Art. Hope to come back once. Breakfast with lots of options and even a baker on the corner. Very friendly owners!
It was a super modern, neat and well equipped room in a great location in the beautiful town of Provins. Super easy to book in another night when we asked and no troubles getting in even though we were very late.
The hotel is just off the main square of the lower town. We were traveling by bicycle and the hotel provided a secure, indoor space for our bikes. The breakfast room was nice and airy.
Absolutely everything. It was a surprise to find this small apartment in a beautiful place like Provins. It was so cozy and I enjoy myself a lot that night
