The hotel is an old school with a lot of atmosphere situated in the middle of a beautiful, medieval town with a Chateau. Walls and towers are built from hewn, volcanic, black stone originating from ancient lava flows of the volcanos of Auvergne. A huge museum about the volcanos of Auvergne is 10 min away by car. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and luxurious shower. The host is exceptionally kind and showed us the room and amenities. There is a communal kitchen for the guests, so it is posdible to cook your own food. It is a great place for a family reunion. The breakfast was delicious and served individually by the host himself.

Friendly and very good dinner in the restaurant. Public parking on the square in front of the hotel. Close to the motorway if looking for a stopover. Nice little village.
