Location, hotel, room, parking, food and the owners were all superb. Felt homely and welcoming. The room was spacious and the owner very friendly and helpful. The food from the restaurant within the hotel was excellent and the outside restaurant terrace charming. Beautiful walk behind the hotel along the lake. So relaxing.

Location was perfect for an overnight stop heading to Spain.

There was a restaurant next to hotel, a Burger King for convenience and a fuel station within a minutes drive. Parking was plentiful outside the hotel and there was also paid secure parking which we did not use.
Breakfast was very good. Cooked and continental. Good coffee and juices.
We had a very good nights sleep, hot water was plentiful and shower was great. Rooms are basic but it was all we needed. We would stay here again.

The food in the hotel is fantastic however there is a small bar just over the lane for a little pre dinner drinks or should I say a post walk-in drink with our little dog.
The village is quiet and picturesque the real rural France.
Beautiful character hôtel, thoughtfully designed and decorated. Such a wonderful ambiance . So relaxing . Staff were just fab . Terrace outside was very atmospheric and so relaxing after a long drive. The meal was exceptional ! Creative and beautifully presented and tasted great

I stayed at this hotel before Covid and the new owners have given the bedrooms an excellent makeover. It is very convenient if driving down the west coast of France to Northern Spain. An excellent continental breakfast is provided to get your day off to a good start. Evening meals are very simple but fine for an overnight stay.
Good sized room, bigger than most French hotel rooms, very quiet location, clean and modern. Enjoyed sitting in the evening having e.meal in the pool area. Anyone looking for a stay while in the Bordeaux area or en route to Spain from UK or N.France should choose this gem.
The house is beautiful just as displayed in the pictures. Staff was very friendly and kind. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was excellent with lots of variety to chose. Easy to get to from our main travel route. Parking right in front of hotel. Quiet village.
We picked this location to break our trip from the UK to Spain and return as the hotel is minutes from the motorway. Also, on the edge of town and semi-rural it's ideal for long walks with the dog after a long trip.
