Logis Auberge De La Dune - Hôtel & Restaurant, hotel in Le Crotoy

Located a 10-minute drive from Le Crotoy, this small, friendly inn is situated in a countryside setting close to Marquenterre Ornithological Park.

I am gluten and dairy free and the staff went to a lot of trouble to provide gf bread, goat's cheese and unsweetened soya milk for my breakfast. There was also bacon and scrambled egg, in addition to cold meat and cheese, as well as yogurts and the usual croissants etc.

Fabulous breakfast. Location overlooking the Baie de Somme is magnificent. Great Friday market right outside Les Mouettes Blessées. Our host Lucile was attentive and extremely helpful. Le Crotoy is a delightful place to stay. Wonderful to walk around and many excellent resaturants right near to the hotel. Trips on the Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme from Gare du Crotoy and across the Baie on the Commandant Charcot are a MUST.

Delightful place to visit. Quaint streets. Quiet - no noisy bars! Good choice of good restaurants. Great for walking around the bay. Don't miss the narrow guage railway from Le Crotoy around the bay. Also don't miss the boat trip across the bay.

We have been about 11 times to this area and it suits young and old. If you like a quiet and tranquil holiday then this is for you. It is a painters paradise and for lovers of nature too. Everything is on your doorstep as it is a small town. Quite a few events going on in summer that are interesting. Seafood restaurants and good old ice-cream and burgers if you fancy that. Great steam train ride and a boat trip to see the seals.

Le Crotoy is a lovely little seaside town on the Bay of the Somme. It has a slight air of faded glory which is really charming, perhaps it has seen better days but I really loved its vintage ambience and authentic fishing village vibe. It has some great, updated seafood restaurants and the locals are utterly charming and polite. I have never had so many cars stop for me to cross the street as here. It feels like it is being discovered by Parisians and might be the new Paris sur Mer so I suggest you go there now while it retains an air of innocence and affordability. You need a car to get there but everything within the town is walkable.

I can hardly comment as most of the restaurants and shops are closed at the time I visited (January). It makes it a relaxing experience but plan ahead and bring your own stuff. A few shops are open though and buying food has not been an issue.

    Lovely little seaside town.

Lovely little seaside town. Stayed close by before for a week and loved it then. Great bars and restaurants especially if you love French fresh fish dishes. A few lovely shops selling local goods and food. Superb views across the bay. Bird watchers would love this place. You could easily stay a week and find plenty to do in the area. I would recommend this town as a base.

Traditional style hotel restaurant with lots of charm and personality. All the public areas were quite grand and spacious. Particularly enjoyed all the various types of artwork on the walls everywhere and historical information in the reception. Fantastic views of the estuary bay from the front of the hotel. Excellent breakfast and dinner too
