The staff was very friendly. The chalet-like interiors of the hotel were very enjoyable.

I have visited this hotel before and I expect that I shall stay there again in the future. The rooms are not huge, but not exactly small either. The staff, especially the manageress, are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help. The car park is adjacent to the hotel and is protected by CCTV and is closed off at night (access is still possible for guests). There is also a large, secured bike room for those wishing to ride the nearby cols. There are several good restaurants nearby and hotel staff will make reservations for you, if asked.
Situated in 12km from Sybelles ski resort, Hôtel de l'Europe offers free Wi-Fi throughout, secure parking for bikes, a restaurant and a bar, ski storage facilities and a laundry service.

enjoyed being in the jungle room, plenty of space, comfy bed, wifi that worked, goos shower. Nice outside space, shame we didn't really get the weather to make the most of it. Parking good. The communal kitchen and lounge were really good. Enjoyed breakfast. Easy walk into town.

Exceptionally awful unempathetic attitude to guests.
Exceptionally awful unempathetic attitude to guests. We were going via one of the most risky route up in the mountains to reach the hotel 'cause we were lost due to GPS. We barely found a spot with a cellular signal to call and warn the hotel. That was basically up in the Alpes in the middle of a very narrow road, what we have informed about the staff over the phone. Imagine our surprise they said we have to say our credit card details right now otherwise we can't arrive later cause they can't charge a deposit. So the guests should risk their lives in order to justify their unfitting reality management system? By "reality" I mean obvious risks of running a hotel in the mountains like routes problems for tourists from other regions.
In addition to that, you have to pay extra (around 40 euro, do not remember the sum correctly) if you don't make a cleaning before departure according to their instructions. It took us more than one hour to do that. That is the 1st time ever the hotel doesn't provide free cleaning in my and my husband's life experience. Also, it's possible to check-in with a receptionist present at the spot only during 1 hour a day and that isn't a traditional 2 pm check-in. Moreover, the sauna works not only several times a week, though several hours - opening at around 5 pm only to get closed at 7.30 pm once the whole swimming area is closed.
Overall, the complex is satisfactory, though all these rules are absolutely not fitting for relaxation.

A quiet, mid-size resort for a week's skiing at a reasonable altitude. You can walk round La Toussuire in about half an hour. Well maintained slopes. Good range of restaurants. I did not see any evidence of nightlife, but I did not go looking for it.
Very small apartment, with very old furnitures. The photos on website show it is a very bright and spacious duplex, but in reality it is not at all duplex, only a very small apartment with tiny bed rooms and very old furnitures. The service attitude was very very bad, the manager even said to us: either you take this apartment or you go out now and live on the street ! Very sincerely, we do NOT recommend at all to reserve this hotel! Please AVOID!
Unique friendly welcoming hotel run by fabulous couple who seem to care very much that you have a good time there. The food (we were half board) was consistently excellent. No choices on menu involved, but all three courses each night were delicious and well thought out. Wine menu v small but also thoughtful and we had nice enough bottles for E24 each night so not outrageous.
The property was as advertised. It was clean, comfortable and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the quiet and being surrounded by mountains. It was worth staying at the top of La Toussuire. It had shops, bars, bakeries and restaurants but not overly busy, which we liked. The communication with the property manager was easy and quick.
