The breakfast was plentiful and comprehensive in a continental mode. The staff were friendly and helpful - especially the manager whose English was good and he was patient with our French. The location was perfect. We loved the history of the building and the fact that Pissarro had painted the harbour from the window of our room.

The owner and his wife are the most respectful and thoughtful individuals. There ability to sit down and talk to us Canadians and thank Canada for their freedom. It made me proud to be a Canadian.

The view from our room (and bed) was spectacular. Friendly staff and fine food. Too bad we couldn't enjoy the terrace (and its terrific view) due to the weather.

The room was nice, but small, the little garden is charming and having a breakfast there was great.

Located on the seafront and featuring a casino, this hotel is located beside Dieppe Castle. It has a 24-hour reception and a gastronomic restaurant with panoramic sea views.
The staff the facilities everything about it was professional.

The harbour area is an interesting area to walk around with lots of restaurants overlooking the waterfront. The market on saturday is very good. We visited the castle which is a good value tour with great views over the city. Dieppe also has several other coastal towns within about 40 minutes either side of it eg Treport and Veule les Roses. Driving in the area on the D925 was very relaxing and quite especially compared to the UK. Most places we visited had plenty of free parking.

Dieppe is a town steeped in Medieval history and Gothic buildings. Cathedrals and churches which are beautiful.
Dieppe is very expensive for food and drink especially.
French people seem very polite and friendly and greet you with a smile...
The food in various places was a bit disappointing for French Quisine.
They do not cater for vegetarian diners very well...
I am an English trained certified classic Chef who was taught to cook in the style of French Quisine and as such was often a little shocked that pomme fries were served up with almost at every meal and a lack of vegetables to accompany the order.
No Dauphinoise potatoes or other potatoe dishes offered on menus. Shocked at chips everywhere.
I myself am a former professional Classic trained French style Chef
Surprised at the limited choice of Menu at the Cafe Les Tribuneux.
One of the most famous restaurants in Dieppe..
Overall a friendly hustly bustly little town oozing with plenty of charm good atmosphere & hospitality.
I would still recommend Dieppe as a nice place to visit for travellers.
There is a great Fruit and Vegetable market on Saturdays also farmers selling fresh cheeses and other produce.
The market also sells clothes and leather goods, bags & purses. Etc...

Dieppe is an unsung holiday destination.
Dieppe is an unsung holiday destination. The expansive Saturday morning market is worth going for alone! It has a plethora of good restaurants and bars (take a bow "Au Bout La Bas"), a beautiful and very big beach, a fascinating history, and a brilliant swimming complex next to the beach. It also makes a great base for exploring the surrounding areas and towns such as Rouen and Etretat.

Wonderful town with old buildings, a busy harbour and a fabulous Saturday food market. Excellent food everywhere especially if you're a fish/seafood lover, spoilt for choice. Beach is clean and pebbly with lots of snack shacks for crepes/waffles and more.

Dieppe is beautiful with harbour walks and beach walks in horizontal streets. The castle is stunning at night and the harbour lights are incredible. There are lots of cafes and restaurants along the harbour. We went to one and they were unfriendly…. Quay 11. Food was ok but kind of hostile service. Most folks were pleasant.
In the street leading from the harbour there is a lovely restaurant Les Tribunaur,, with friendly staff and easy relaxed eating and drinking. But lots of choices so shop around. There is a tourist train which is a 45 minute ride all around the city and up to the castle. At 8 euros it’s a great buy. Boat trips along the coast daily too.

Dieppe is an amazing town . There are so many restaurants. Market is brilliant . Shops great . Harbour area lovely . Good beach prom walk . Lots to do . Little train . Museums . 2 churches . Great bars to sit outside .
This hotel provided a beautiful room with two large double beds and a great view of the sea and the harbour. The price was comparable to other hotels on the seafront here, but the service and welcome from the staff was far beyond what you might expect from a more well known chain. The buffet breakfast had a large selection from cereals to meats and cheeses. It was only a continental style breakfast so if you were hoping for an british style cooked breakfast then this is not the hotel for you.
The hotel was well situated for both seeing Dieppe and taking the train to Rouen for the day. The room was small but the window opened, the bed was comfortable and everything worked in the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent with a decent choice of sweet and savoury and the drink machine produced very good coffee. The wifi in the room worked well for our purposes (reading emails etc) as did the TV. We were able to leave our luggage until the afternoon when our ferry home was scheduled.
Easy to find location.
Very close to Dieppe ferry port.
Welcoming and friendly staff.
Super clean and tidy room with tea and coffee facilities.
Great hot shower and facilities.
Comfortable bed.
Local restaurant next door to the hotel.
Fast food outlet opposite the hotel.
Supermarket less than 5 minute walk away.
Secure parking.
Great breakfast with a good selection of choices available.
I'd recommend staying here 😁🇬🇧🇫🇷👍
Les Arcades hotel was easy to find and the proprietor’s explained where to park for free as the pay car park behind the hotel was being used for part of the market area the next day. We were late arriving in Dieppe so had a meal in the hotel restaurant which was relaxing and delicious. The bed and pillows were very comfy, no quilt just blankets on our bed but it was not too cold so we slept well.
Warm welcome and we were able to check-in
In advance and we left a little later too. The staff of the apartment is nice 👍 the room is clean, comfortable and complete. Groceries and Gare stations are nearby and with a beautiful walking stress and sea side view.
Dieppe area is beautiful. 👌🏰 ⛵ ⛱️ ☀️ 🌧️ ☕ 🥂
This was our second visit. The staff are so welcoming, it's like coming home.
It was my partner's birthday, so I had organised champagne for our room. The champagne was ready and waiting, they had also upgraded us to a room with a sea view free of charge. Thank Hotel Aguado for making our stay so special.
This beautifully renovated hotel stands out with its unique architectural character in the heart of Dieppe. Our stay was very positive with great staff, a superb minimalist well designed room and balcony with views of the marina. We look forward to our next stay and wish all hotels were this desirable.
I stayed here from the 15th to the 19th not sure why it has the wrong dates there.
it was clean comfortable and it has everything you need if you cook your meals I stayed in three different properties during my holiday in France and this property was the best equipped.
it was very quiet and relaxing .
The manager Gabriel was generous in his welcome after I struggled to get a taxi from
the ferry port. in the morning I needed a taxi to the station and when none was available he drove me there himself. Outstanding hospitality.
But Dieppe needs to get a grip on its lack of taxis.
Easy to find. City centre. walking distance from Dieppe pedestrian centre.
Bike storage facilities. Kettle in the room. Only hotel of the 4 I used on the trip to have a kettle in the room! Used to cyclists. Excellent value for money overall.
Quirky, with all the amenities you’d need. Nicely decorated. Excellent customer service. We stayed once as we arrived in France and once as we left - we’d happily stay again.
