Very friendly staff, very helpful and spoke good English (better than our French). Close to town centre, plenty of car parking, Lots of quaint, classic, Normandy style building in the town. Dinner and breakfast both good French style. A handy three hour drive from Eurotunnel. A gem which we'll use again when in the area.

My daughter's family, travelling separately to my wife and I, were involved in a traffic incident - fortunately all parties appeared to be okay at the time - which meant that we had to unexpectedly take our grandchildren with us so that they could sort out their vehicle, which could not be driven, and manage their onward journey without the added stress of young children. We arrived at this property with out additional two guests (aged six and one-and-a-half). The hosts were incredibly supportive and helpful and whilst our stay wasn't as we had expected it was managed so well and without fuss that I cannot express our appreciation and gratitude sufficiently. Other than the above, the location was lovely, in the village of Cormeilles, and we had a nice dinner at a lovely restaurant. The property was delightful, our room was perfect and the breakfast delicious. Thank you so much.

Cormeilles is a wonderful, small village in Normandie.
Cormeilles is a wonderful, small village in Normandie. In 20-30 minutes you have reached the towns od Deauville, Honfleur… on the coast. Étretat, Rouen… are cca one hour driving distance. The village has two bakeries, a butcher shop, supermarket (open 7/7), a fromagerie, shops with local products, bars and restaurants and a market on Friday.

Cormeilles seemed to be a thriving little town, with some interesting shops – we noticed a fabulous fishmonger and butchers and a busy bar in the square. I'm not sure there's enough interest to make it a 'destination', but it is pretty, as is the surrounding countryside.

Cormeilles is a delightful village located right on the edge of Normandy's magnificent Pays d'Auge/Calvados region. It is well worth a weekend on its own, and as a base for exploring the area it makes for a perfect home-for-the-moment.
Fantastic place in very quiet location. Place was equipped with everything you would need at home.
Supermarket and bakery within 10 minutes walk, also small restaurants, bars, pizzeria and coffee places. Perfect base to explore beautiful Normandy. 20 minutes drive to Lisieux. 10 minutes to Cerza zoo. 30 minutes to beautiful coast. Cormeilles itself is a beautiful village with unique sloping church also worth visiting.
Best of all for me was complete silence in the evening and morning and birds singing. Perfect place to reset.
We liked everything. The house is beautiful. Old, but well maintained. It is cosy, with a romantic fireplace. The kitchen was exceptional. A lot of details were taken care off. The hosts were kind and all the communication went smoothly. The location is perfect. Although small, the village Cormeilles has everything you need: a fromagerie, a butcher shop, supermarket (open 7/7), two bakeries, shops with local products, restaurants, bars… One of the best accommodations I have booked with Booking.
It was the first time i dont stay in a hotel but in this type of Bed and Breakfast you find a beauty with the smiles, clean air, fresh Food and extraordinary decoration as well as Familial welcome. i can only recommend this stay. For me it was enough waking up to the smell of warm croissants and before we left the small gift of lavender sac from the garden. Thank you Dominic and Laura for everything.
