The room was fine. I failed to book in advance for dinner and there was no table available in either restaurant. But that was my fault. We ate at the Bar. Tasty and the staff wee were excellent. Once we had assistance to move around the hotel (which is wide spread) it all went quite well.

We were allocated a large room on the top floor with a view over the pool and golf course. The room and bathroom were very clean. We dined in the dining room which has a lovely view of the golf course. The food and service were excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also good.
Staff were polite and friendly.

The host was pleasant and replied promptly to my questions. The property was very well equipped & had a comfortable bed. Unfortunately it rained a lot during our stay so we were unable to open the roof ventilation which made the room stuffy & hot. Nothing that a fan wouldn’t fix.

Lovely town 25 mins by train from Gare du Nord in Paris.
Lovely town 25 mins by train from Gare du Nord in Paris. We arrived there quicker than we could have reached most places within Paris and were rewarded with historic buildings, clean streets, plenty of restaurants and miles of forest and riverside walking and cycling. If you're a fan of France but not keen on Paris, Chantilly is a perfect short break.

A real-life town in an attractive part of (semi-rural) France, benefitting from a good range of shops, a (small) market, a significant variety of restaurants and cafes (to suit all tastes and budgets), friendly people - just a very nice place to visit.
Hopped on the bus to Senlis, the old walled town, and lunched there. Well worth the visit and the bus ride (but check the timetable and the bus stops carefully.....better, ask!!)
Bearing in mind that our trip was in late-January (when most attractions were partly or fully closed), we still managed to enjoy ourselves thoroughly.

You'd need at least a few days to see everything and to rest and enjoy the area. There are no taxis from the train station, and finding an Uber was not easy, take that into account. Getting around is better by car or bike, walking is quite long. The castle was nice and so was the horse museum. Do not miss the Pavillon de Manse - kids loved it!

We loved the area, very natural with the most amazing chateaux right in the middle. We took a day in Paris, and the train journey was about 25 minutes. (saved all the fuss of driving in and then finding a car park.) Plenty of places tpo eat.
The drive from Calais was stress free all the way.
We will definately go back.

Charming, sophisticated town to explore the chateau and indulge in the posh patisseries. Limited budget food choices in restaurants if you are avoiding meat as more emphasis on beef and pork. Good range of supermarkets if you are self-catering with lovely produce to buy
The standard double room we had had a great corner location overlooking the town square. Love the small seats you can use for reading... The room is very clean and cozy. The breakfast is amazing there was a decent selection and everything tasted great. The ambiance in the breakfast hall is very good. There is also a private hotel parking with chargers for electric cars. The stations for the free buses going to the chateau and the train station are in front of the hotel.
We used to visit the original motel style out of town Campaniles with our children when driving through France on route to a holiday destination. This was well over 20 years ago. This time we were on our own and this was one of the original Campaniles. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were great- yes the place needs a bit of work to bring it up to scratch and it might not be worth it but we were expecting that. The stay brought back great memories for us.
The ladies working the restaurant had to do all the work. They were great. Just not clean, not appropriate to rent. They can do better. It wasn't the size, but the lack of cleaness and decent bed. Come on, a single good bed can't be that expensive. I won't stay in a hotel connected with a restaurant again as the follow-through isn't there. Thanks to the ladies for helping with the 4 flight of ricketty stairs and baggage.
Thoughtful design. Fresh decor. Amazing use of space to provide every thing you need, but not crowded. Kitchen was appreciated, after so many restaurants, we needed a down night -- made homemade vegetable soup and watched TV..
Location very convenient to the chateau grounds. Neighborhood peaceful and private.
Loved the convenience of free parking nearby in a safe environment.
Nice decoration. House in the middle of Chantilly. Great bed, bathroom and kitchen. Free parking in the weekend nearby, and free parking all week a little further away at Parking du canal. Amazing village, direct train to paris. Great food, nice people, not too crowded. Great coffee machine with beautiful cups
Location is great and central, close to the train station and to the Chantilly castle
Staff is very friendly and available
The hotel is comfortable with a peaceful charming common space (lobby, garden) and a tasty restaurant (where breakfast is served and for dinner)
Very quiet!
Excellent location. Walking distance from the Chateau and a good focal point for touring the area by car.
Free parking inside the hotel. The room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was rich and fresh.
The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful.
If there is a better breakfast to be eaten in France then please let me know! Many of the ingredients are home grown or home made and clearly the lady of the house takes great pleasure in making guests feel at home
the staff were exceptional - the kind of service that is not easy to find in France. Very professional. The hotel itself is very charming and had a lovely decoration. The restaurant was also impressive.
