Home with a view lives up to its name. You might not have a view from your bed but there is a nice terrace overlooking the stunning bay on which Vágar is located. The unit is spacious, clean and with a comfortable double bed. Amenities in the kitchen are plentiful and the bathroom has shower gel, shampoo an even toothbrushes if you happen to forget one! Vágar is a great base for exploring Suðuroy and I recommend at least three nights here if you have the time and want to do hiking. After all, you never know if the weather is good, so give yourself some slack. Thank you for a great stay and for the welcome treat!

The location was very good, the place had all the facilities and it was very cozy and it made us feel very comfortable . The hosts were very kind and helpful but we didn't know that we have to take the ship to go there and we stayed the first night at Tvorory.

We went to Trongisvágur for the Hvannhagi hiking trip. You don't need a rental car for this trip. There is a bus service to and from the ferry - and it even stopped on request outside the house we rented in Trongisvágur.
