The lounge, enabling a smooth transition to the afternoon ferry, was a true boon.

Touring Europe extensively. Found this hotel and suited us perfectly as we had a rental car so didn’t need to be down in the town centre. Having a self- service laundry is wonderful for travellers on the road for a while.

It is one of the cheaper options in the city center that does not involve a shared bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and it was nice to have a shared kitchen. The staff were friendly too and the breakfast room was a lovely place to start the day.

Small city, easy to walk around to get to places in the city, slippery in the winter, terrain is uphill and down hill sometimes but railings are everywhere. Really good restaurants like Aristova and Barbara.A lovely corner cafe and book store called Paname Supermarkets have nearly everything including GF breads.People are very friendly and help you if and when lost.Must visit the red houses!

It’s the town center of Faroe Islands.
It’s the town center of Faroe Islands. A charming town but not much to do. There are some good restaurants but the food was a bit on the pricy side, which is understandable considering they may be imported or flown from other places. Getting around the islands by car is fairly easy. It’s feasible to drive to the sightseeing spots on the map within a day, if no hiking is needed. Don’t miss the Mulafossur!

Lovely old town, cathedral with pretty garden and turf roves of parliament buildings. Can you find the ancient circle carved into the rock near the water.
Good Tourist Info with loo.
Lovely lunch in cafe set back from Main Street which also sold cheese.
Toasted sourdough sandwich……very nice.
Do visit National Art Gallery near cute wooded park with pond……if you can find it……best to ask!

Torshavn is a lovely place to visit, and the local people...
Torshavn is a lovely place to visit, and the local people are very friendly and helpful. It feels very safe overall, and there is enough of interest to sustain a 3/4 day stay. There are good restaurants (some expensive - depending on what you're used to) and there is good quality food on offer. Getting around is easy, with most of the Town being walkable - with the local "Red" busses being free to use. Exploring beyond Torshavn needs planning. Some bus routes offer a morning departure but can have a late return, with not enough interest for the casual traveller at the destination for more than a couple of hours. Be aware that Shops etc. close at 13:00/14:00 on Saturday, and on Sundays everything is closed (including the local busses, and some of the cafes and restaurants!)
The ferry to Nolsoy is cheap and only 30 minutes. However, if you are NOT hiking there is only 1 shop/cafe (closes Saturday at 13:00) and 1 other cafe (Maggie's was open, friendly and with basic food (chips/burgers/pizza) and worth a stop). For non-hikers there is only an hour/90 minutes of interest, but you may have a several hour wait for the return. Maybe in peak season it's better - I was there end April.
Service was great. Room was big and comfortable. The hotel provided free on-site parking as well so its good for travellers with cars. Nearby, there's a mall and a supermarket (A Handil) where you can easily get supplies and food. The hotel had a laundry room as well (with a washing machine and dryer) which is very convenient for travellers whom have been on the road for a very long time.
Everything went very smoothly. The hosts were responsive, provided local suggestions, and even left us a nice little welcome gift upon arrival. The beds were also exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen worked perfectly for the meals we decided to cook at home. Finally, the location was also perfect for our time around Torshavn.
The hotel is very nice and curated in details, and the staff is very kind and helpful.
The location is perfect to go around Torshavn by walking and the breakfast was amazing.
Plus the hotel own some independent restaurants, We tried Katrina Christiansen and the food was very good!
1.Location at the center area
2.Cheap hotel price.
3.Thai restaurant ,Thorshavn harbour and old village is very close to this hotel. But you should have to carry the luggage to your rooms at 2&3rd floor. Use only back pack or carry on is the best thing to do when you stay here.
The location is perfect! A few minutes walk to the
centre of Tórshavn. It is in a nice and quit street
located. There is also a shop next to the hotel, so if
you want to get any things for during the day you
can get them there and off you go on an adventure.
If you are looking for a ordinary hotel in Torshavn then Hotel Djurhuus is an ok alternative. The rooms are clean, but the roms are not modern.
The breakfast was just ordinary. The people at the reception was kind. The hotel has a good location in Torshavn.
Great apartment. Clean and modern with a well-equipped kitchen. Great views (weather permitting). Hosts live upstairs and were friendly and responsive. Location is very convenient to explore everywhere in the Faroe Islands. Parking space right outside.
The apartment was clean, beautiful, and everything needed was there. Very close to a grocery store, and only a 5 min walk to the good restaurants in Torshavn. While no ‘reception’ ( as this is not a conventional hotel) the hosts were very responsive.
New and modern interior. The hotel has a large outdoor parking space and it's well connected to major routes out of Torshavn. Breakfast selection was very good. We especially enjoyed the selection of local craft beers in the Lobby Bar.
Very scenic and quiet location overlooking Torshavn. Definitely need a hire car to make the most of it. Hotel interior very stylish and modern, lots of communal sitting areas to drink/sit/relax. Large and comfortable rooms.
It is a large apartment, with all the amenities you need. Very well located and just a 10 min walk to the old part of Torshavn. It also had a parking space which was very convenient.
Extremely nice staff, perfectly clean room with super comfortable beds & great room service! Exactly what you want while enjoying the exploration of the amazing Faroe Islands!
