Disappointing for a 4 star resort. Not in any way value for money. Rooms were not quiet, place was a bit run down. Breakfast was very basic. Unfortunately lunch and dinner lacked variety, was tasteless but priced as much as a fine dining restaurant in Australia. The only plus were the friendly staff. As other reviewers have noted, there were two events on when we stayed, which significantly impacted the food choices

Dive at Fiji's Shark Reef Marine Reserve! Though expensive, it's a truly unique experience. The Fiji Shark Dive runs morning shark dives five days a week (Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri, Sat) at the Shark Reef Marine Reserve. Usually 2-tank (2 dives), multi-level dive features Bull sharks as the main attraction, accompanied by Sicklefin Lemon, Tawny Nurse, Silvertip, Grey Reef, Blacktip, and Whitetip reef sharks, with thrilling guest appearances by Tiger sharks. Scuba certification is required to dive at the Reserve.

Pacific Harbour is a beautiful area with a gorgeous beach, but be prepared for the 2 1/2 hour transfer from Nadi Airport. Locals are lovely. Would recommend the River Tubing activity. So much fun and the guides were awesome.

I stayed at Oceanus Resort, which was basically rooms, a restaurant, pool, and Aquatrek Dive Centre. Across the road was Pearl Resort, which was more of a resort and more expensive. Went to a Fijian evening at both Pearl and Uprising Resort. The evening entertainment was fantastic at Uprising, with Fijian dancers, fire dancing and really excellent food. Pearl provided no entertainment, and the food was lousy (glad I diddn't book to stay there!). There is an Arts Village walking distance up the road from Oceanus, with cafes, restaurants, arts and crafts. If you want to do the shark dives, there is Aquatrek on site at Oceanus Resort, and Beqa Adventure divers at Lagoon Resort which you would need a car to get to (the resort next door to the dive centre seemed run down and empty). I heard there were some good Air B'nB places to stay.

(For a single female traveller this place is very safe and secure and I would recommend instead of the local hotels)
The staff were welcoming, warm and always helpful. They were very committed to their work and proud of the redevelopment of the hotel. The view was lovely. It was spotless. Compared to other places in the area it was very well priced.
Nothing really to talk about. Compared to other hotels we stayed at ... Breakfast was okay ...There was quantity but not so much quality. Service at the restaurant....poor, unorganised. Let's say the stay was okay
The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The hotel was stunning and amenities great. The best part of our stay was definitely the staff. They were attentive, professional and so genuinely friendly.
The hotel, situated beside the lagoon, offers stunning views, a lovely pool, and an excellent restaurant and bar with delicious food, although the breakfast could be improved.
