One of the calmest places I’ve been to! It’s featuring beautiful landscape and very few people (we were outside of the high season). There are a lot of attractions such as snowmobiles, skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks - a lot of them! Also, there are a lot of options for activities such as dog sledges 😉 one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to, definitely recommend!

Perfect service at the airport from the car rental company; our car was already warmed (-25C outside when we arrived).
Ylläsjärvi is a beautiful place with lots of good cross country skiing tracks and possibility for downhill skiing as well. Worth visiting especially if one adores nature and quiet!

Good place to spend a couple of days in Ylläs.
Good place to spend a couple of days in Ylläs. Decent breakfast served on mornings. There is a dedicated ski wax room which is very handy for X-country skiers.
A heater in the drying room was not functioning 5 days out of 6 (of our stay) and no attempts be personnel were done to fix it. It was rather annoying thing since it is actually a 'sport' hotel, where majority of guests are coming for either alpine or X-country skiing activities.
Rooms (for 4 persons) are small.
The hotel is nicely situated in a side street with lots of chalets and holiday cottages around it. Ylläs ski resort is just a few minutes away by car or skibus, which stops right in front of the hotel. Apart from the wide range of options for breakfast, I had dinner too on one evening and was very satisfied with the buffet offered.
Rooms are comfortable, but a little dated. Anyhow they are well maintained which made me feel welcome.
Very charming hotel, breakfast was great, rooms small but comfortable. You can pay additionaly for 1h private using sauna, jakuzzi and ice swimming, since the location of hotel right next to frozen lake. Nearby you can rent snowmobiles and snowshoes, there are nice trails on lake and through the forrest.
Location could not be better for skiing - directly from the slopes to the door. Breakfast was good and plenty. The room itself was great for us (chalet with a balcony and alcove for a third bed). Nice selection of restaurants at the hotel and more nearby. Personnel was nice and helpful.
The included breakfast was exceptional.
Having access to the washer and dryer was very helpful.
The hotel is close to trail access in the national park.
The room was cozy and quiet and had a great view of the ski slopes. (300-level even numbered room)
This hotel is in an exceptional area of natural beauty. The hotel staff were very accommodating.
There was a good choice for breakfast and the amount provided was very good. The evening meal was of a standard you would see in a major city - exceptional.
Excellent location close to the slopes. Good apartment with nice essentials and well-working equipment (dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, stove, laundry, etc.). Great storage for skis, etc.
+ great breakfast (and lunch too in fact)
+ hotel has ski rental facilities within
+ great location for slopes access
+ kids loved the spa
+ staff friendly (except for strange policies)
Very staff - Heidi and Nicholas were great in setting up a perfect stay with outdoor activities (snowmobile, skiing, husky sleds, reindeer farm, nice sauna)! Food was great!!
The location was nice with a great view the place was clean and well furnished with most things that guests need. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful.
The location is great, close to the ski resort with ski lifts, sport shops and restaurants. Nice and tidy apartment with sauna, and well equiped kitchen.
