The cleanest hostel facility I've seen so far. Friendly fellow tenants, proximity to scenic spots, cool inside while it might be hot outside.

Beautiful surroundings, recently renovated or extremely well kept interiors including bathroom, super comfy bed and lovely decor. All the staff were very kind and it was lovely watching the horses, cats and wildlife + sunset from the communal balcony/terrace. Very good location for exploring different parts of the island. Option for cooking a definite bonus, the kitchen+dining/breakfast room was clean and had a nice farm-house vibe. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a countryside stay.

Cozy little cabin with it's own veranda and kitchen. Private beach and shore area with 28° pool. There were lots of little wind sheltered houses at the waterfront where everyone could eat and enjoy the sunset. Barbecue could be borrowed and worked very well. We didn't use the sauna. City centre and ferry terminal can be reached by a short walk (~30 min).
very friendy and servantminded service from all the personel.
Breakfast was beautifully set for us at individual tables and served with detail and care. The interesting history of Saltvik comes true in the surroundings and the gesthouse keeper was happy to tell us about it.
So was with the art gallery presenter as well.
