Lovely location in the middle of old Porvoo. Nice lobby bar and reception area. As has been mentioned the small rooms are very small so don’t bring large luggage! However the attic sauna is very nice - be sure to use the cold bucket dunk. Bathrooms very nice.

We stayed for a few days in a Duplex Apartment, which was extremely spacious and well-equipped. Wifi was great, check-in and check-out were extremely uncomplicated.
Also, they reacted promptly via WhatsApp to us providing some dietary restrictions for breakfast. Which, by the way, consisted of a sandwich, fruit, porridge or a cookie, yogurt, juice and milk.
It's a beautiful area, very quiet, and there are tons of activities on the premises (football goals, darts board, discgolf putting baskets, and a playground).
Nice place to be at, and about 15min from Porvoo by car.

Old town vibe. Very nice for a day trip and walk. There’s a few good bars and restaurants, and even in the evening the atmosphere is fantastic.
I would recommend spending one night here, to enjoy the relaxation and the vibe of the place.

Porvoo is a really lovely town. Cozy, great architecture and history and really friendly people. I wish that I could have stayed longer and explored.
The canals and the woods surrounding the town add a very special kind of magic.

Beautiful wooden old town and church, full of history from before the independence of Finland. Amazing small restaurants and cafés. Boutique little shops. On the coast and a good starting point for exploring the Finnish archipelago.

It was not my 1st visit to Porvoo, I've been here 3-4 times...
It was not my 1st visit to Porvoo, I've been here 3-4 times before. I like this city very much and would like to return again and again! May be my love to this city is inspired by the movie «За спичками» (Tulitikkuja lainaamassa - Borrowing Matchsticks. This movie was filmed in Porvoo. Every time walking through the cobbled streets of the city, I remember the heroes of the film and imagine them on the streets of the city.
In a local museum I knew about Valle Rosenberg, the famous Finnish artist. I like arts and his name was new for me. Valle Rosenberg was born in Porvoo and worked here. His works you can see at the museum. Next time I plan to learn more about another famous citizen of Porvvo - Johan Ludvig Runeberg. My last trip was too short to know more.

A picture perfect tiny old town. Exceptionally pretty. We loved the cobbled streets and pastel-coloured wooden houses. Lovely walks along the river, or through the forested area of Castle Hill. Plenty of choices for good restaurants, cafes and places to have a drink. Some nice boutique style shops to explore. A major supermarket in walking distance. During the day the central part of the old town was busy, but would become wonderfully quiet and peaceful by late afternoon.
Excellent choice in coronavirus. Super clean and cosy hotel next to historical town Porvoo. Own private entrance from the street to the room. Breakfast was delivered straight to our room. There was a nice terrace next to the room where we had breakfast enjoying a beautiful view. In the hotel Covid 19 safety measures are followed 100%. Very helpful staff that speak english very well. It's a big plus!

Amazing and very friendly service. We felt we were taken care of. Delicious breakfast (uunipuuro and the bread were omg to die for! :)). The room was very clean and whole atmosphere of the hotel was very sweet and cozy and interesting. Awesome location. It is definitely good to book the parking space in advance. ❤️ We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and come back one day. Thank you!
Price-quality ratio was quite good. Accomondation was clean and most likely recently renovated. Room was slightly plainly decorated and equipped. Breakfast was simple, but still very valid and good from fresh ingridients. Location of the hotel in the middle of the city was good - all the main attractions can easily be reached by foot. Several restaurants and shops within few minutes walk.
Everything was perfect! The house has been recently renovated in a stylish and elegant way. Everything is studied in the minimal details and it really looks like to be in a luxurious hotel. Even the sofa bed is as comfortable as a true bed!

We returned to spend another night after a break away fro Porvoo. The owner was very accommodating and arranged a late check-in. We are unsure if there had been others staying whilst we were away from Porvoo but the apartment had been fully cleaned and was like entering for the first time again.
Everything looks exactly what it shows in the picture. Cozy atmosphere for couple to have a short “get away” from Helsinki. Good location and with the bikes (included in the cabin) I could travel all around Porvoo. The cabin is super clean and shower work well.
Hotel Runo really exceed my expectations. The room, staff, breakfast, sauna and atmosphere was amazing. The room was clean and comfy and staff were always happy to help. Really happy with the hotel and will definitely be booking to come back to the hotel.
The AC was excellent, the room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast is good, however not wonderful or in any way exceptional as suggested by some reviewers. Location is also perfect, Porvoo is a small town.
