Lovely location in the middle of old Porvoo. Nice lobby bar and reception area. As has been mentioned the small rooms are very small so don’t bring large luggage! However the attic sauna is very nice - be sure to use the cold bucket dunk. Bathrooms very nice.

We stayed for a few days in a Duplex Apartment, which was extremely spacious and well-equipped. Wifi was great, check-in and check-out were extremely uncomplicated.
Also, they reacted promptly via WhatsApp to us providing some dietary restrictions for breakfast. Which, by the way, consisted of a sandwich, fruit, porridge or a cookie, yogurt, juice and milk.
It's a beautiful area, very quiet, and there are tons of activities on the premises (football goals, darts board, discgolf putting baskets, and a playground).
Nice place to be at, and about 15min from Porvoo by car.

Old town vibe. Very nice for a day trip and walk. There’s a few good bars and restaurants, and even in the evening the atmosphere is fantastic.
I would recommend spending one night here, to enjoy the relaxation and the vibe of the place.

Porvoo is a really lovely town.
Porvoo is a really lovely town. Cozy, great architecture and history and really friendly people. I wish that I could have stayed longer and explored.
The canals and the woods surrounding the town add a very special kind of magic.

Beautiful wooden old town and church, full of history from before the independence of Finland. Amazing small restaurants and cafés. Boutique little shops. On the coast and a good starting point for exploring the Finnish archipelago.

It was not my 1st visit to Porvoo, I've been here 3-4 times before. I like this city very much and would like to return again and again! May be my love to this city is inspired by the movie «За спичками» (Tulitikkuja lainaamassa - Borrowing Matchsticks. This movie was filmed in Porvoo. Every time walking through the cobbled streets of the city, I remember the heroes of the film and imagine them on the streets of the city.
In a local museum I knew about Valle Rosenberg, the famous Finnish artist. I like arts and his name was new for me. Valle Rosenberg was born in Porvoo and worked here. His works you can see at the museum. Next time I plan to learn more about another famous citizen of Porvvo - Johan Ludvig Runeberg. My last trip was too short to know more.

A picture perfect tiny old town. Exceptionally pretty.
A picture perfect tiny old town. Exceptionally pretty. We loved the cobbled streets and pastel-coloured wooden houses. Lovely walks along the river, or through the forested area of Castle Hill. Plenty of choices for good restaurants, cafes and places to have a drink. Some nice boutique style shops to explore. A major supermarket in walking distance. During the day the central part of the old town was busy, but would become wonderfully quiet and peaceful by late afternoon.
Wonderful breakfast/brunch included in price, excellent dinner not too expensive. Great sauna and pool, could be hired for private use also. Good walking trail around the gardens and woods on the property. Nice location in the countryside but very close to Porvoo and Helsinki region. Comfortable beds and very quiet, only birds singing outside.
Visited during a bike trekking. The owner was super nice and everything worked out nicely, clearly exceeding my expectations. You could buy food, snacks, drinks and the breakfast was lavish. They even had nice cats outside to keep us company. The 2-person room upstairs was spacey and quiet. Highly recommended.
Excellent Breakfast and amazing position: literally in the middle of Porvoo’s old town.
Staff extremely helpful: we had to use the sauna, but could not figure out how to make it work (we found them later “under our noses”); the staff answered our call even late in the evening and provided wonderful help.
The hotel is located in an old hospital and it surely has an unique atmosphere. Super clean, pleasant staff and clear check-in instructions. Our room had everything that we needed.
I'm not lactose intollerant, but I liked that the place thinks with its breakfast options also about people like that.
All necessary equipment provided (fridge, microwave, water boiler).
Room and linen were clean.
Automatic sign-in was quite handy.
It is easy to take a bicycle into the rooms, as they're all located on the ground level. There might even be enough space for a recumbent.
It would be nice to have more variety in the breakfast. What was offered was pretty good but I was expecting more local things, especially the Runeberg cake, for instance :)
Other than that, the hotel was absolutely great!
Very beautiful hostel with an interesting history, well equipped rooms and very amazing staff! The kitchen was also very spacious and the whole place was clean. Linen and towels were provided.
Location is super, but the hotel has seen it's best days. The room was shabby, but clean, view was nice. There was an aircondition in the room, which was nice. Beds could have been better.
Very nice spa hotel. The manor side is fabulous, the spa side wing a bit dated could use some refurbishment but very comfy so nothing to complain about.
