The apartment was very nice (great kitchen, bathroom etc,), location was just a few blocks from the market place (city center), but still calm and quiet. The apartment did not get too warm even though the temperatures were around 30°C.

Positives: stunning location, cute cabin and well stocked kitchenette, I slept on the sofa/futon which was reasonably comfortable, great smoke/wood sauna with plenty of wood, buckets, and changing area even has windows to see the lake! there’s a dock to swim from if you’re interested. Quiet secluded area but you can drive to Mikkeli in a short time. Make sure to wake up at 4am in summer and observe the pristine, glassy water snd early morning sunrise. Also the sunsets are spectacular!
Great location on a pretty lake with a variety of cabin types. There are shared bathrooms near the cabin we stayed in and an on-site restaurant for meals. it’s also close to Mikkeli. There’s plenty for families to do f try im mini golf to a theme park with rides and a beach. The staff were very friendly! Also open in winter apparently for skiing.

The hotel is in a wonderful environment with nature and lots of sporting facilities available. The room was clean and spacious, and the manor house is a lovely setting. The breakfast was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful and accommodated a late check-in.
food was excellent, staff were extremely friendly and understanding. our Finnish is very basic. Minna who worked in the bar area was very attentive. The location of the hotel is ideal only being a short distance away from the rain station and the bus depot

We could arrive late as we had a door code to enter. The hotel is close to lake and walking trails. The beds were comfortable, place good value for money.
