You find a hotel (Hotelli Salpa) which has an included restaurant and a nice view over the lake, you have a restaurant (Kahvi Pakari), which has good food for good prices or you buy your groceries in the local store (Sale) and stay at a rented apartment. If this doesn´t tickle your fancy, you can drive to the next village (Taavetti), which is only 15km away. There you find everything you have in Luumäki, only bigger and in larger numbers. If you like to take walks or bicycle / skiing tours in the countryside, this is a great place to do so.
