Excellent place for a stay with a larger group or family. Large combined living room and kitchen area serves as the center of everyday activities, bed rooms in the upper floor have 2 separate beds each and there is one additional bed in the upper corridor. Downstairs has two bedrooms as well, one with 2 separate beds and 1 with a larger single bed. The living room and kitchen equipment was splendid, same for the rest of the house.

Luosto is a ski resort, we went in the summer for peace and quiet which we got. Easy trails for walking and climbing. Climb the mountain for a great view or the new mountain hut has opened with a short 1.7km steepish walk which leads onto longer trails

Absolutely beautiful. Stunning scenery. Lots of winter activities. Small village but wonderful and very friendly locals. Good bus service from outside the hotel. The ski bus was very useful for getting to different areas. Wonderful places to eat. Food was of the very best quality. Lovely gift shop in the village called Herianna. Full of wonderful gifts and the staff is fantastic,so warm and friendly. Also there is a great little shop that has everything you need for your stay.

A small but Amazing Spa, as in coed Steam sauna, normal sauna, water massage in the pool, jacuzzi and fitness/gym room.
Great food at breakfast and restaurant.
Super service by the staff all over.
Lovely nature to go walking or biking. Ametyst mine near by, caravan site, shop and down hill

Relatively less touristy than other Lapland towns even...
Relatively less touristy than other Lapland towns even though it is the closest one to Rovaniemi. The town itself is very small but has all the activities Lapland can offer from skiing to husky safaris. If you have a rental car, I would suggest choosing a cottage house a bit far from the center to fully enjoy the remoteness and if lucky, the northern lights.
The place is lovely! cozy atmosphere, excellent location and super comfortable.
We visit Luosto quite often so we know the area and different accommodations there, this was the first time at flying reindeer and we were pleasantly surprised, we loved it! :)
The girl in the reception make the difference, she is nice and helpful, a really good host, 10 points for her :)
We loved the sauna & the fire place inside the room and the big window looking out to the snow covered garden and road. It would have been awesome if the Aurora happened. The location was also excellent, near the restaurants. The ski bus from the airport to the hotel and return trip was very efficient and comfortable. Cheaper option than renting a taxi
This gorgeous log cabin is located within walking distance of the town of Luosto. The host was super responsive and happy to give you recommendations. Perfect for our winter trip, felt like we were in the middle of now where and we had everything we needed in the cabin - sauna, fireplace, working kitchen and even snow shoes!
