I knew hotel Lahde from before and I did enjoy it again very much. In short, nice people, nice facility, nice location, comfortable rooms, very good breakfast - and the city of Lappeenranta around - simply very enjoyable overall.

The flats are designed very tastefully, with an artist touch. This makes the stay very enjoyable. The house is has historic value (a previous school) and is located on the defense line (during II Word War) against Soviet Union. Thus there is historic spots to see.

I generally know and like Lappeenranta - it is a nice town to stay in and to both work and enjoy. Located in the beautiful Finnish nature and at the coas of Saimaa lake. Moreover, the place is good as a base for journeys to the nearby attractions as well as e.g. for shopping.

In Lappeenranta, we particularly liked the harbor and the fortress. Otherwise, we mainly used the city as a starting point for trips and hikes along the shores of Lake Saimaa. Lappeenranta is ideally located for this. The environment is really beautiful.

There is something magical about Lappeenranta.
There is something magical about Lappeenranta. Such a beautiful place to spend summer. So much to do and see, yummy Finnish foods from the satama, loved the sandcastle sculptures. E-scooter rides were great fun and a visit to the market for fresh strawberries and peas is a must.

The breakfast was awesome, but the same breakfast every day was a bit too much for me since I was staying for 4 days (this was not a minus for short travels). the swimming pool and sauna were good additions to our trip.

Lappeenranta is very beatiful and lovely city.
Lappeenranta is very beatiful and lovely city. Lake Saima and all around is very beatiful in summer time. All people are very nice. From here easy to access to Russia by train or bus. The hotels are very convinient. Must to see
I knew what I would be getting. The cottages are really old and basic, and offer no luxuries. This is fine for me. What I needed was a place to sleep. I swam in lake Saimaa every morning before starting my working day. The location is beautiful. I chose this over centre hotel to have a chance to swim in the lake straight from bed.
They had rental bikes available. Not very good ones, but worked for getting to centre swiftly.
Spacious apartment next to lake Saimaa with all necessary things for a stay. Free parking, two bedrooms with their own balconies, AC was working properly, small porch with gas barbecue, all in good condition. At reservation we were somewhat concerned about all neighbors celebrating midsummer party. But our nights were surprisingly silent and no bachelor parties nor boring puukkohippa style games were played around us.
It is unique place to stay. The room is spacious enough for both of us, shower is good & bed is comfy too. Good breakfast and good facilities. There is a common room where you can enjoy coffee and tea with your friends or partners. There is also a fridge for the guest to store their own drinks or foods. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
The owner of the apartment was really nice and available. The apartment itself is great, and the glazed balcony is icing on the cake!
Very clean, spacious, well furnished and comfortable (super good sleeping)☺️
The location is great to get to the city center and the neighbourhood is also very nice!
The flat is nice and it has a lot of space if you count in the terrace. The kitchen has all you need and the garden is really nice to sit in and well taken care of. The toilet / shower were functional. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the location is good, close to the lake and the beach.
The basement house is really great. A full kitchen & nice bathroom with a shower with really hot water! A beautiful location across from a lake/boat dock. Easy parking & parking close to the front door to unload your luggage. A huge sun room. Close to the city of Lappeenranta, which is so beautiful!
We are a couple from Italy and we’ve been in this hotel from 12 to 19th of August . We really want to thanks the staff and particularly Victoria for her kindness.
Hotel Lahde is very beautiful, located on the center of the city, near the lake.
Clean, cared for. A bit ancient in some parts of the apartment but nothing that hurts. Well worth considering compared to a hotel. No breakfast but good kitchen and shops nearby. Balcony a nice bonus to sit out on.
I needed to go to work very early each morning and the friendly staff told me that I was able to have the hotel breakfast already at 6:30 despite the "official" time for breakfast was starting at 7:00.
Very good price-value, located in the center of Lappeenranta - generally cheaper than comparable offers (Sokos and Scandic). Our to-go-to hotel when visiting Lappeenranta!
The hotel location was perfect. Easy access to most of the sights , stores and dining. Hotel breakfast was excellent. Be sure to add it to your room while booking.
Everything was great. I would definitely recommend to stay here. Very interesting hotel managed by a nice couple that puts much effort and care into it.
