Quite big room for a single standard rated, very clean, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and several options for everyone, many parking spaces, very good sauna. Highly appreciated the small shop available in the reception area, having all those items that you can easily forget to put into the luggage ( tooth paste, feet plasters, hair brush, etc)

The hotel is a charming old manor house. It doesn't offer luxury or all modern facilities, and could do with some updating, but is a lovely setting for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Breakfast is plentiful, and taken on the veranda, overlooking the green gardens, offers a great relaxing start to one's day!

Just like any other small city in Finland. Maybe if you dig deeper, the seaside would be nice and what's happening there. But in the center there is little interesting. Same shops and chain restaurants.
We had a very warm welcome, even though we arrived at 2am in the morning. Our night receptionist (Minna?) was particularly kind and thoughtful, and we appreciated the ‘extra touches’ to help us feel at home! Our room was delightful, the breakfast excellent, the staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. We could not recommend this lovely hotel more. Thank you for a great stay!
The guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood a bit before the Kotka centre. No interaction between check-in and check-out is possible. Each room shares a toilet with another room but the showers are common for the entire guest house. If you are travelling with a cycle, you can keep it safely in the backyard. There is a grocery store within walking distance of the guesthouse.
Stayed in this hotel twice this month - with the family, and alone, in a stopover during a drive to Helsinki. Both times the rooms were newly furbished and in good shape. Beds are comfortable, there is a desk in case one needs to work. Location is close to the highway, but not noisy. Plenty of parking available.
It's been hyper fantastic! All: the hotel staff, the location, the comfort, the hotel facilities (the sauna was cool👍❤️), the bikes included in the price, the breakfast was very delicious and a great variety of local Finnish dishes😋👍👍👍❤️ we would love to go back to this hotel one more time!!! The owner, Nina, was very pleasant, and has a very nice little hotel! There's no lobby, the rooms are in different buildings of what was once a small family farm.you drive or walk into little driveway, which opens to a garden with fruit trees, and the various buildings are around the garden.
The rooms were really great and we slept really well in the beds.
We really liked the friendly staff and the free parking was a plus
We were positively surprised by the level of the hotel, really good value for money.
Affordable accommodation with a great breakfast
The accomodation was nice. We had the loft, which was actually the ground floor/basement. Usually in English speaking countries the loft is in the roof, but here it doesn't mean that. Nina was nice. If I ever visit Kotka again (unlikely) I would stay here again yes.
The hotel is conveniently located for travelers. Although not far from the freeway, the location is quiet. The surrounding area is not attractive, but not a minus if you are only looking for accommodation only. Very polite and helpful staff at the reception.
The building looks nice but, in my mind, it needs an urgent renovation!
