I have stayed at this hotel several times, and it has become one of the most convenient places for me.
The entire building is unique with its atmosphere, light, and space, seamlessly combining a hotel, work area, spa, bar, and even a small massage room.
The view from the rooftop is also nice :)
For those who are highly sensitive to sounds, it's worth noting that the hotel has quite noisy ventilation.
However, if you mention this when booking,
some rooms are quieter
(as the hotel consists of two different buildings).
Overall, the hotel is much quieter and more peaceful than those located in the city center.
Breakfast offers many options, but it's best to come early or right before closing to avoid crowds.

I had booked an airport hotel as my trip was very short and I didn't want to spend too much time commuting but when this property popped up on Booking.com with a Genius discount I thought, this is a must-see! A major selling point was the free sauna, convenient location in the town where I had my business meetings and the great reviews about the breakfast. Upon arrival at Backby I was transported to a fairy like destination. The landscaping, the buildings, the air that was pure and fresh. Everything felt magical. I slept soundly in the firm single bed and enjoyed a superb breakfast buffet the next day! Even more special the sun was out in all it glory on my second day so I was able to enjoy breakfast on the terrace with a view of the lush Finnish forest. I sat outside for two hours in the sunshine enjoying a three- course breakfast of fresh berries with yoghurt, bread and pastries with sausages, and specially made hot chocolate! This place makes me want to return to Finland!
