It has a 24-hour reception so there was somewhere to go when the ship from Helsinki arrived at 4 a.m. They had my room ready early, by around 12 pm. They also let me switch the breakfast from the day or leaving to the day of arriving, since on the final morning I wouldn't have had time to eat it. The breakfast offering was good. The room was as new, very good.

Godby is full of opportunities for everyone, sports, hiking, cycling etc. Beautiful environment. Short distances in all directions to historic sites and impressive nature spots. In the east e.g. the fortress of Bomarsund with an excellent new information centre for visitors and the Kastelholm castle. In the west the legendary Eckero post and customs building.
Thera are large apple tree farms close by.
We enjoyed a fantastic performance of Puccini’s opera Tosca at the Stallhallen open air stage, organised by Aland Opera Festival.

The must-do is Stallhagen brewery's pub-restaurant and shop. One of the first new breweries in Finland when it opened in 2002 and doing very well. Traditional pub, traditional local food and good atmosphere.
The hotel was very cozy and nice, location by the lake. Service was very warm and friendly. The interiors were well cleaned, very clean all thogether and the interior design was very lovely!
Very intimate and beatifoul rooms. Very nice decoration. Lovely breakfeast and good location near Godby centrum and Stallhagen brewert and frisbee golf.
