absolutely pleasant weather, a max of 25 Celsius when I stayed there for a week. great, comfortable hotels and pleasant services by hotel staff. plenty to see in terms of parks to visit, restaurants to go to and cafes/bars. very underrated city and very very safe to walk as a solo traveller or in groups.

Good cultural things to see and do - we had a great guide who accompanied us in the market and we were able to buy some lovely jewelry. I found the Ethiopian people very laid back and great for a chillout holiday.
The the museum with the earliest human remains was really interesting as were the orthodox churches.
I really enjoyed the trip to Eddoto park and the coffee ceremony. Well worth a visit.

There are many beggars on the street and keep asking for money - irritating. They follow the tourists and also snatch things. One of my friends purse was stolen but they returned the docs (good guys) and took the money (bad guys).
Beware of cigarette sellers and others like them.

Unprovoked violent assault occurs, including in popular tourist areas in Addis Ababa. Avoid walking alone at night. If you're a victim of violent crime, especially rape, visit a doctor as soon as possible as HIV/AIDS is widespread. Keep an eye on local information sources about crime.
The hotel is super close to the airport, they offer shuttle for free. I was offered a room upgrade and got a small pack of coffee as a gift (which I suspect I left in the room, I was too tired, and it was good coffee!). The rooms are a bit outdated but clean and big compared to other hotels. The bed was comfortable. The wifi worked fine for me. The breakfast offer could be better compared to similar hotels in Addis, but you will not go hungry and their coffee is good. All in all it was a nice stay and worth the price.
We had a good stay in Addis Ababa thanks to the friendliness of the staff. Hailé is an efficient and attentive manager. HE helped us with the necessary steps to be independent in our organization (taxi, telephone) and the organization of excursions to Hawassa. I highly recommend. Good value for money and lovely staff who offer you traditional tea at any time of the day. The small interior court is pleasant to rest.
Second time staying here and still very much satisfied. Comfy and clean room, close to the airport, very helpful and polite staff. Both drivers I had (airport pick-up and drop off) were super helpful. They have a big lunch buffet, a bit overpriced in my opinion, but there are good vegetarian options on the a'la carte menu, reasonably priced.
- The owner Mullah is a lovely man and so helpful with a great sense of humour. He can help with trips around the city and give tips on where to eat etc. The rooms are large and bathrooms are basic, but for the price, reasonable. A short walk to lots of food places.

close to the airport. They provided a shuttle from and to the airport. I booked this hotel when I arrived at the airport and there was a shuttle standby to take me to the hotel. So everything went smoothly for my layover in Addis Ababa.
Good stay at this hotel and very friendly staff, they even have a free pick-up or transfer service to the airport. Well located to move around the main attractions or monuments in the city of Addis Ababa, I will definitely return.!!!
I overnighted here on the way in and out of Tanzania via Addis Ababa. The location was great and the price was fair. I basically just needed a bed and a shower and this property met those expectations.
It seems this property didn't exist in Addis Ababa as of we wait for more than 40 minutes at the airport to meet their staff but no one comes to welcome and transfer us to their property.
Very comfortable location for overnight stays in Addis Ababa in between flights. Breakfast and dinner are quite poor, incompatible with level of hotel in any other aspect
