We arrived on our bicycles having cycled over the mountain in a downpour and were soaking wet. The lovely manager lit a fire in the bar, provided a warming drink and didn't mind us dripping all over the floor. Nothing was too much bother. Beautiful hotel in a lovely town.

The property was right in the centre of the village with plenty of free parking. The staff were very friendly and speak very good english. Everything was spotlessly clean with great emphasis on covid regulations. Plenty of hand gel everywhere and tissues.
Free WiFi throughout. Excellent breakfast, slightly different each day for an additional 6 euros.

Simple, family-run hostal. Rooms were spotlessly clearn.
Vinuesa is a beautiful little town. It's the perfect place to stay if you want to do a day hike to the Pico de Urbión, the source of the Douro river just on the other side, or only to the Laguna Negra. The area is spectacularly beautiful and has lots of other places to visit and explore all throughout the year. Just across the street form the hotel is a tourist center with lots of information about what to see and do in the area.

Vinuesa was situated by a large lake and within short distance of other places of interest. The village was pretty although, probably owing to the coronavirus, lacking in atmosphere. No night life
Villagers were friendly and perhaps at another time a place for a relaxing, quiet holiday.
The value for money was fantastic. The room was very clean with nice clean white sheets and clean white towels. And I left without paying by mistake and the owners contacted me very politely and conveniently allowed me to pay by card without having to drive back to the hotel.
Location in the village. The ladies who worked there who tried to help and feed us. The room with a jacuzzi was large and the bed very comfortable. I would recommend the hotel but be aware there are two floors and no lift for the likes of us who are getting on in years.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful village, full of character. We had an excellent breakfast with an amazing variety of food.
The staff were friendly, helpful and supportive.
