A most stunning retreat in a rural village along the Camino de Santiago. The gardens are magical and there is a sense of peace and tranquillity at every turn. Location is perfect if you driving that section of the motorway , it is easy to find and easy to rejoin the road. It has a resaturant, cafe, games room , shop and otheer facilities , however these are mainly for normal hours and it will be minimum service in the night. Room was clean and comfortable.

The hostess was wonderful! She did everything to make our stay comfortable. We liked having a kettle, mugs, and teabags. Breakfast was at any time we chose, which was helpful as we wanted to leave early. The village is beautiful.

What a lovely country house for a calming respite stop in the beautiful town of Castrojeriz. Wonderful places to sit and admire the views from the huge picture windows in the downstairs lounge and sunny patio.
