If you are exploring the Nalon Valley and central Asturias that is a very good place to be. You MUST have a car since it is a rural up the hill type of hotel.

We stayed one night in Caseria La Infiesta and it was ok. The location is beautiful, from the open-space dining area you can see the fascinating landscape of the mountains. The room was reflecting the style of an old but well mantained mansion. Comfortable bed. We had a setback when locked outside by mistake and had to ring the owners couple of times to let us in, but they sorted in our in no time! The hosts are very welcoming and nice!

You get to live in the typical horneo (which actually was not meant to be an accommodation for people), but it’s definitely an interesting experience! The house is quite dark inside, but the location allows to spend nice time outside. There is a restaurant right below it where you can try local food of Asturias.
