This is a fabulous hotel, wonderful large rooms, immaculately clean and well presented with friendly, helpful and attentive staff. I cannot fault any aspect of the service they gave me, including allowing me to change room due to the internet signal being intermittent/weak in the room they originally gave me - this may have been a temporary situation but it was important for me as a solo traveller, because I need to maintain contact with friends and family. The room I was moved to had a perfect signal and I was very grateful that they could accommodate the change.
As I am on a biking tour I was only there for an overnight stay so sadly did not get to see the surrounding area or places of interest. Security and safety of bikes is a real consideration for motorbikers and although there are no garages, such is the rural location, security was not an issue.
I would highly recommend this hotel, it was perfect for me in every way, quiet, peaceful and oh, did I mention the breakfast? Great options to suit most people's taste and appetites, it certainly suited mine 😉. Thank you to all for a lovely, albeit short stay.

The hotelier and his wife/other staff were exceptionally friendly. Excellent sense of humour and loved the taberna. We had such a great evening.

We had such fun here, in literally a "one horse town" one of the Sunday lunch regulars, left on horseback! Food was as described by the other diners, hearty, super genuine and amazing value for money

This hotel was clean and comfortable. It was dead quiet, but it was not high season and we were there mid-week. The restaurant was very good, though the menu was limited and very beefy. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Free parking was a bonus. The location was great for us because we wanted to hike in the mountains and go wildlife spotting.

The atmosphere, the place is rural and not near a town. Most importantly the staff were kind- our host saw we didn't eat the meat at breakfast, so she made us an omelette instead, which was super nice of her. Thanks!

Rather than a hotel would call this a lovely local bar/restaurant with rooms.
The bar/restaurant was nicely busy a lot of the people were locals. Nice friendly atmosphere and the staff and owner were friendly and helpful . We ate here twice and the food was good local, honest fare, the owner told us the tomatoes were from his garden and you could tell, delicious.
They don’t offer breakfast as such, but breakfast sandwiches, which I think are a thing in Astaurias, freshly squeezed Orange, coffee and a slice of cake made a perfect breakfast.
An authentic rural village establishment, in a beautiful, not overly touristy area-not trying to be anything other than that.
