The location is wonderful. Perfectly placed to explore the Foz de Salinas and surrounding villages. The hotel is very comfortable and charming. The proprietor is a most courteous and attentive host and his wife is a superb chef. We stayed five nights and every dish was delicious and generous.

Garibaldi is so kind and helpful. I was walking and there are no restaurants so he gave me food for dinner and breakfast. This was a great experience but it isn't a modern "anywhere in the world" hotel. It has charm and personality.

The location is superb with views of the Foz de Salinas gorge and its spectacular limestone cliffs, and within easy access to good road links to other major sights in the area and treks elsewhere. The hotel is very comfortable and the proprietor an attentive and courteous host. His wife is a superb cook, and every meal was delicious. A wonderful experience.
