It's such a lovely place that we return again and again.
The ambience of the place, the cleanliness of the rooms, the quality of the food, and the professionalism of the staff all merit praise.
We always sleep and eat well here.

Great location in the old part of town. Large comfortable room all beautifully appointed. The bathroom was very luxurious we had a beautiful view and a lounge area with a bar to enjoy a complimentary drink and coffee/tea( with something sweet) The restaurant was amazing for dinner and the complimentary breakfast was delicious in the most gorgeous garden settings. Parking could be found 200m down the hill

It is one of the best villages of Andalusia. It was our third time there. This is an autentical "Pueblo blanco" with an amazing view for the sea. You have a lot of restaurantes, typical shops, and very cozy streets to walk.

Vejer is a quaint, white village in Andalusia.
Vejer is a quaint, white village in Andalusia. An excellent tour can be purchased on Voicemap for less than 6 Euros. It is filled with a wealth of history and culture of Vejer. The App works amazingly well allowing us to browse a shop that we came across and then continuing after we left the shop. The guide is Carlos Milburn. Unless one has mobility issues the car can be parked and visitors can walk through the town throughout their stay. There are many restaurants, cafes, etc. to choose from. Be aware of holidays when visiting Vejer as all the shops, etc shutter. Except for peak tourist season even the restaurants might not be serving food on a holiday.

The place is beautiful and there was a Jazz Festival during our visit. Parking the car was challenging, but our hotel offered us a taxi from the parking lot when we arrived. If you have health problems with your feet, I cannot recommend this city. Lots of steep hills, which are dangerous even for young people in the rain. The food was tasty and the people everywhere were really friendly!

Vejer de la Frontera is great for people wanting to chill out and just hang out in a peaceful place. It has many hills and stairs wherever you go, so grab comfortable shoes and some water, but it's worth it. Everyone is super friendly, and they don't mind helping you when you ask. It's not for the ones looking for parties and crazy nightlife, that's for sure. But if you want to relax and reflection, then this is the perfect place for it.

We love this cute town... the views from it are fantastic.
We love this cute town... the views from it are fantastic. There are many cute gift shops with clothes, wicker, jewellery, pictures, pottery, etc. There are a lot of shops selling artists' handicrafts, we could have spent a lot of money there! The restaurants are excellent with really gorgeous food, we definitely recommend Corderra 55. We visited Conil de la Frontera (17 minutes away) with a lovely beach. Also Zahara de los atunes and Barbate are only 20 minutes away. We will go back!

One of the most beautiful and historic towns I have stayed in.
The village is located on the top of the hill with every building painted white.
This location has been settled since at least the Bronze Age and has more recent Moorish and Christian architecture.
It is a quiet and picturesque town with nice restaurants.
The views from the village are beautiful overlooking the surrounding plains. It is close to some spectacular and quiet beaches.

Beautiful interior with lovely small sitting area tucked around the interior. The small hotel had the feeling of staying in a friend’s home rather than a hotel. Room was spacious with a patio that overlooked the pool and a view of the coast. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above average. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and the Moroccan themed menu was very good.
We had a lovely time at Casa Encalada. The staff is very nice, we felt at home. The location is great, beautiful view, close to cafes and great restaurants. I wish we could have stayed longer.
There is also a good store in the hotel, irresistible! Thank you, Ana, Carmen and Lorena for welcoming us.
Beautifully designed boutique hotel with charm in every corner. Each detail in the hotel has been thoughtfully considered. The attention from the owner was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel whether travelling with your partner or friends!
The property is in a lovely, peaceful spot in the hills opposite the pretty town of Vejer de la Frontera. It’s extremely quiet and the rooms are designed so it’s also very private. The facilities in the room are just what you need and it’s very clean.
Beautiful building, the second highest point in Vejer from the lovely roof deck. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
Nice touch to reimburse you for the taxi ride to the hotel because it would be hard to find your first time.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Superb location. The room was spotlessly clean, everything felt new and well-maintained. Never had trouble to find parking space in front of the hotel. This place totally exceeded my expectations.
Really nice and clean apartment with a beautiful rooftop and view over Vejer de la Frontera.
The apartment is very well located - close to everything.
The hosts are lovely people! They could not have been more helpful and kind.
A short distance from la patria restaurant which is also excellent. Must return to try their own food at the hotel. We had a long talk with the owner and another of the staff about travels and food from Morocco and India.
Beautiful cosy flat, bright and well positioned. We had a fantastic time in Vejer de la Frontera and this flat is really an amazing place to have as a base. We will definitely come back, thank you so much!
Literally the best boutique hotel, definitely in the south of Spain! Amazing design to every detail! Briliant, attentive, helpful service with excellent recognition of Clients needs. Wonderful stay!
Breakfast was good, but the helpfulness of the staff was outstanding; they went way out of their way to help us. It would be helpful to have a map of the walk from the town square up to the hotel.
The setting of the hotel is perfect. The view from our room of the old town with the Andalusian light was stunning. The reception staff were warm helpful and so likeable. We loved our stay.
Beautifully decorated small, cosy hotel. The bath and shower were fabulous. Very comfortable bed. Staff very attentive and kind. All great. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Our room was large and comfortable. Staff were kind and welcoming. Breakfast was generous. I would stay again in the future.
You get what you pay for. Very friendly staff. Went out of their way to help us. The place is no five start hotel but it was very clean and unpretentious
