Located in the magical far away village of Alojera, perfect for adventurers, hikers, and people looking for relaxation and quiet solitude. Wonderful terrace on the roof of the house (shared between both apartments of the house), offering views on the surrounding hillsides, the ocean and on clear days also the neighboring island of La Palma. Parking spot was assured, the neighbors are friendly and the host was kind and helpful, with plenty of practical advice and notes. There are two beaches (Alojera and Trigo), which are approx. 15 minutes walk downhill. Playa Alojera has a local restaurant (Prisma), where we ate the best fish ever - also a recommendation given by our friendly host.

Vallehermoso is excellently located for hiking routes in the centre, north and west of the island. There are bus connections with San Sebastián, the capital, and Valle Gran Rey, the main tourism destination. It is a traditional Canarian village with some attractive old houses and is a good place to relax and disconnect. There is a beach at the bottom of the valley where you can sunbathe and also swim if the waves are not too big.
Amazing to stay with Alfredo who welcomed me very warmly, showed me his garden and the "hut" to do yoga. Vallehermoso is a perfect town to start hikes from, which is quiet but with everything one needs. I stayed here much longer than I anticipated because it was a great combination of having a place to wind down, yet meet like-minded people. There is organic fruit and eggs from Alfredo's own garden/chickens and he was during the entire stay very helpful, flexible and fun to talk to (in many languages) :)
The host was absolutely lovely. It is good value for money, especially if you want to spend the day walking in Vallehermoso. The beds are not amazingly comfortable however overall the accommodation did the job and we also went out for dinner in the town which was great fun.
Very nice and welcoming place with a friendly ghost. A good location, not far from all the restaurants/bars and little shops. aproxi 3 km from Playa Vallehermoso. nice terras upstairs and 2 bathrooms. Good atmosphere between the guests.
